I can not own a dog where I am living and love the company of dogs. Taking good care of a dog would be a pleasure. I work at dog friendly Lowe's and get along well with customers dogs. Petting customers dogs makes the job better. I get down low and hold out my closed fist, always seem to make a dog friend without too much trouble, often hear from dog owner, he seems to really like you or I've never seen him wanna play like that before, he's really enjoying himself today at Lowes, or normally he growls at men but I'm surprised he has not . seen many dogs recovering from surgery that are placed on carts because they can not walk. you need to approach carefully because the dog feels vulnerable, don't try petting at once, allow them time and space for gaining trust with you. or perhaps any petting causes them pain, let them lick your hand, they will let you know if they feel safe and not threatened by your presence.

I have grown up with dogs and cats of all different ages and sizes. Moving away from home was tough because of the separation between my Cockapoo, Great Dane and I. Without the means of getting another dog myself, I thought this would be a great option. I have a car and can pick up or drop off pets, or even drive to a nicer scenic walk if they live in a crowded area. I am reliable and responsible, and will happily work with any kind of dog or cat.

I am a 21 year old junior at Champlain College. I love all animals in any size, shape, or form! I am passionate about animals and make sure they feel all the love in the world. My schedule is flexible and open, therefore I am able to take care of pets at almost anytime throughout the week (unless I am in class of course).

I have a dog of my own, named Moxie! She is a 5 year old Morkie and the love of my life. She is a lover and gets along with all types of animals, big or small. My hamster was her best friend when she was a puppy :)

While I currently cannot offer boarding due to my current residence, I will be moving in June and will then be able to open up my home to boarders!

Any pet I sit will recieve ample love and care, and there will be tons of toys! I also can assure tons of pictures throughout the day to send to owners to see how much fun they have!

Hi there, I'm Cody! My girlfriend and I are UVM seniors with some extra time looking to shower dogs in the area with love and affection. Both of us have owned dogs growing up, and my gf is an animal science major who will be attending vet school next year.

We would love to board pets but unfortunately our adopted cat isn't too fond of dogs. So we will only be able to watch animals in their own homes.

Although this would be our first time providing dog watching services, I can assure you we have all the skills needed to provide a comfortable and pleasant experience for your furry friend. We would also love to care for animals of all shapes and sizes.

I am a senior at The University of Vermont studying Zoology.

I have a true compassion for animals. All species! I have experience caring for my family's animals around our small farm. I have also studied Animal Science to an extent, so I am familiar with the care and health of many animals.

With school in session, I am occupied during the day on Monday and Wednesday. However, my weekends are free and my schedule during the remainder of the week is relatively flexible. When scheduling a time, I will be sure that my calendar is free enough to provide attention, exercise, and general care to your pets. We will be as active as possible, whether we are taking walks through out the day or spending a day on a hike!

I live in a two bedroom apartment with a roommate who is also a dog lover. My home is kept very clean and comfortable, so pets that need to stay at home will be very content. I should note that I do have a pet bearded dragon. He will be in his tank at all times while your pet is in my home, so there is no need to worry about any negative interactions.

My whole work career and path has been centered around animals, they are my passion.

First off, I have worked in two different doggie daycares one previously at home and one currently in Colchester. On top of this experience I have also worked at Petsmart for a little over a year giving me extra experience with all different animals.

I myself have a 7 year old chiweenie (chihuahua dachshund mix) named Daisy that has been under my care since she was a puppy. Before Daisy came around my family had a vizsla named Bella until I was about 12 so I've had a dog in my household most favorite my life.

I really love dogs and love working at a doggie daycare all day. Doing this Jon makes me extremely comfortable with dogs and very understanding of their different needs and personalities. In this setting I have had to deal with all sorts of dogs and am comfortable with all breeds and sizes. The facility I work in is a group play daycare with all dogs that come to play staying together in a large backyard usually with anywhere from 30 to 60 dogs. Dealing with this many dogs a day makes me extremely comfortable and aware of dogs behavior.

Currently I work at the daycare mainly in the evenings but some days have to be there most of the day. My schedule is always different but I do get it two weeks in advance so I would be able to let you know how busy I might be for the days you need me. This being said I am still always able to make sure your dogs will get their love, walks, and feeding in before and after my time at the daycare. My schedule usually ranges from 3 to 9 hours a day but this still leaves plenty of extra playtime for your fur babies.

Simply put I love working with dogs and would love to start more one on one dog sitting for more personal experiences with pet care.

Hey there! My name is Abby, and I'm an undergrad student at UVM majoring in Animal Science/Pre-Vet with hopes of someday becoming a veterinarian. Not only have I always had 4+ dogs in my house (both big and small) throughout my whole life, but I also live on an 80 acre farm that houses more than 40 Quarter Horses. Additionally, I have also been working at a dog daycare/boarding facility (Happy Tails, Portland ME) for over a year, where I take care of more than 100+ dogs a day!

Clearly animals are a huge part of my life, but since I went to school I haven't had as many opportunities to spend time with them. This will change that!

I am animal lover through and through! Your pets will be treated like part of my family. I promise at least two walks a day and lots of tummy rubs and kisses! I am experienced with dogs all sizes and ages. Your pet is welcome to sleep in bed with me or wherever they are accustomed to. I am also experienced with blind dogs, deaf dogs, dietary restrictions and/or oral medications. Oh, and I have a Panther Chameleon and Hedgehog, so I am experienced with exotic pets as well.

Hi! I'm Meghan. I'm a certified dog trainer and walker. I have a German Shepherd mix of my own, Paige, who I rescued 6 years ago. I completely understand when owners say their dogs are like their children. They mean the world to you. I am an elementary school teacher during the weekday, but my dog is the first thing that happens after I get out. I frequently stop by the local dog parks and trails to exercise and engage. I've pet-sat in middle school, high school, and college, and it has always been a very rewarding experience for everyone (both two- and four-leggers)!

I treat my furry friends like their my own babies, I have two dogs that are full of character. I've been a dog owner for about 7 years now.
I have a huge yard that leads to Lake Champlain for the doggies to play in, if desired. My home is also right next to Burlington bike path which is very convenient for dog walks especially since the Dog park is down the bike path about 2 miles from my home.
If the dog likes to walk he will get plenty of it and if the dog loves to play fetch or chase a ball around he will be beat by the end of the day since my family are huge outdoors and sports people. And for those older more low key dogs we can just hang out by the lake, or cuddle on the couch watching some movies together like 101 Dalmatians (my daughter loves it). I'm up for whatever the dog is up for, it's not about me it's about Your Doggie! and his/her needs and wants. It's definitely a spoiled vacation for your dogs.
