My name is Liz and I am lifetime dog and pet lover! My family had cats all of my life, and I used to pet sit for my neighbors growing up. I was always wanted a dog of my own, so last year I adopted a sweet and affectionate, 40lb German Sheppard mix named Murphy. Murphy has been such a joy in my life; I love spending time with him and taking care of him. My main service is house sitting, but I also do check-ups/visits, dog walking, and day care! For house sitting, I'd love to bring Murphy with me while we stay with your furry friend, especially on weekdays! I work from home so I would be with your pet all day and a typical day would include cuddling, long walks, and playing with Murphy. Murphy is VERY friendly, and very well-behaved. In terms of dog walking, I am a very active person so as long as they are able, we can go on hikes, runs, and long walks!

**Special rules or requests**
I don't have any special needs, my only possible request is having an ample place to park when picking up or dropping off. But it's not a requirement!

Hello, my name is Stewart! I grew up with a yellow lab and have always loved dogs. I don't have a dog of my own at the moment and I need my "dog fix" every once in awhile. I would love to give all of your animal(s) some much needed TLC while you are away! I love going for dog walks and providing ample opportunities for playtime. I prefer to pet sit in your home to help alleviate any anxieties your animals may have. I like to stick as close as possible to your routine with your animals. I know this helps them feel more comfortable while their humans are gone!

I am a doctoral student so I will be in class three days a week for approximately 4-6 hours at a time and at practicum/work twice a week from approximately 7am-6pm. I work and go to school in the Arlington and Washington DC area so I would prefer to sit for clients who live within a short distance of both locations. I would be sure to spend as much time in your home as possible with your dog when I am not in class or at practicum. Hello my name is Russell Johns. I am 18 years old, i am currently serving active duty, In the United States Army. I am from Utah. When i Joined i got Moved to Virginia. When i was home i raised my dog it is a German Short haired Pointer. Got him when he was a puppy. I learned real quick how to train and raise that dog. I also had a Dachshund and a Springer Spaniel. Those were the dogs I also had two cats. Monroe and Cali. I have been around Bunny's, Snake's, Bird's, Mice, lizard's. I have been around A lot. to be Honest I have not raised them. But if you tell me what they eat and have the food for them i will have no problem feeding them. I am not afraid of any animals. (as long as the not poisonous I do not mind) Quick note: I do not provide the food. No matter what animal it is. I cant Own animals While living in Fort Myer. "sadly" So I do not have food on me for animals. Sorry for that inconvenience. I can Give dogs baths. Same thing tho you have to have the shampoo/ towel for the Dog. But I am here To help You so if you have any questions let me know. I will do all i can to work with you, to provide the best service I can possibly. I can stay over night. My typical Schedule i work is, Mon - Fri. I work from 6 AM to 6 PM I have a break from 7:30 AM to 9 AM and from 11:30 AM to 1 PM. My Schedule does change a little bit from day to day. During my Break I will go feed and check on the animals. and when I get off ill go take them for a walk. (If requested) Ill play with them. Feed them and anything additional requested. If any question Just let me know I will be glad to work with you.

Well, I don't live in a palace but I live in a nice, clean, pet-friendly apartment. My girlfriend and I usually spend our weekends at home due to school work and being on-call. I figured I can spend this time bringing in an extra income by hanging out with some four-legged friends! We're planning on getting a new dog in the spring or summer, so this would be a great opportunity to find a preference on breeds as well.

I've owned and taken care of dogs before but haven't had one in the last few years because I wasn't home enough to provide proper care for one. Now that I have the time, I'd love to get back into spending more time with them. As long as it's not an absolutely demon, I'd love to meet your dog and discover if I'd be a good match for walks and/or housing.

I cannot remember a time when I didn't love dogs. I grew up with them. In addition to caring for my own dogs throughout my life, I started caring for neighbors' and friends' dogs about 5-6 years ago. Since then I have gone to college and worked a variety of jobs only to find that working with animals, and specifically dogs, made me happiest.

Your dog(s) will be happy while on Vacay in my home. There is a high fenced backyard with grass and pavement. There are multiple couches, dog beds, and a crate to accommodate any preference. Dogs will have free roam of the entire lower level as well as access to the safe backyard. Access upstairs will be blocked off by a baby gate.

A day on Vacay starts off with a nice walk around the neighborhood followed by breakfast at around 9 AM. The rest of the day will be full of napping and playing in the backyard. There is a walk at noon, a walk around 5 PM and then dinner is served at 6 PM. There is a final walk before bed time between 8- 9 PM.

*Eating and walking times can be accommodated if there is a special diet/ medication/ habit. No problem!*

There will be plenty of cuddles and playing in order to get comfortable and build a trusting relationship and relaxing atmosphere.

My dog Luna has plenty of toys and treats to share! There will be lots of fun but also plenty of napping in the sun when it's nice out or in a nice A/C space when it's too hot.

I want everyone to have the best Vacay possible: so go ahead on your business trip, honey moon, camping trip, etc. with the peace of mind of knowing that your pup is safe, happy, and in caring hands!

I am an animal lover to the core. I grew up with a English Cocker Spaniel and had cats throughout school. I also worked at the humane society. So, I know how to handle all types and temperments of dogs and cats as well as knowing how to administer and track the health of your animal. Due to the humane society, I have ample experience with pit pulls and shepherds and absolutely love them! I believe with the stress of their humans leaving the best place for a dog mentally is at there own home and therefore, I only offer to babysit at your place, not at my place. Hi! My name is Casey and I just Love dogs. I grew up with dogs around me all the time. I've personally had beagles and a border collie, the babysitter I grew up with always had 5 dogs in the house, and most of my best friends have dogs I just absolutely love, from pitbulls to chihuahuas.

My boyfriend and I are thinking about getting one of our own, so this is a way for us to get used to having pups around our home as well as a chance for us to have some extra puppy cuddles! We live in a condo with lots of grass outside and a bustling dog park nearby (10 min walk).

I will always treat your dog as if they were my own while following any and all instructions you have for their care, exercise, and safety. I work full-time, from 7:30a-3:30p, in NW DC, so I'm mostly looking for weekend bookings. I'm happy to come to your place or have your pup in our home. I am located near the Courthouse metro station in Arlington, VA. I am offering dog walking services on weekends and weekday early mornings/late evenings, in addition to occasional overnight dog sitting at the owner's house. I am a recent college graduate who loves dogs. I grew up with a very energetic and intelligent Border Terrier named Archie, and I have experience playing with and walking other breeds. I have helped friends care for two stubborn Corgis, a very energetic Goldendoodle, and a well-behaved and friendly Doberman.

I am offering dog walking and running services. If your dog is less energetic, I will take him or her on leisurely walks, allowing the dog to stop, sniff, and explore as it chooses. If your dog is more high-energy, I will take him or her on an active walk or even a longer jog or run. I also love playing ball/frisbee in a park or backyard with highly energetic dogs. I will supervise dog playdates if multiple dogs need care.

In addition, I am offering occasional overnight pet sitting services at the owner's house. I will feed, play with, walk, and provide company for your dog.

On top of this, I do have experience training my own dog in basic commands, as well as some fun tricks! I am happy to help practice obedience training with younger dogs.
