I currently do not have any animals, but I'm looking to fill that void by dog sitting.

While growing up, my home was filled with 2 dogs and many guinea pigs. My love for animals is unconditional.

I love to take dogs on walks when I'm watching them, provide snuggles, and belly scratches. I also love to run, so if your dog is a runner, I'm happy to take them for a run!

I have a rather set schedule with work and school, but I have a few completely free days and weekends where I will devote all my time to your dog and give them the love and attention they need.

Next time you're gone for the night, the weekend, or longer, please think of me. I promise to love your pet like they were my own.

Overnight pricing:
1 dog: $65/day
2 dogs: $70/day
after 2 dogs, price increases by $10 per day per dog

Hey, I'm a student and would love to have a flexible part-time job, I always loved dogs,grew up with the Dalmatian and 2 cats, unfortunately had to move away from my parents,and cant afford having my own dog yet,especially having unstable schedule,so I'd love to have a chance walk with dogs and have fun!
I'm a pro athlete, having a very active lifestyle, live cycling, running, hiking, that'd be wonderful if the doggies can join me. I love exploring new places, going on walks to different parks and take pictures, so dog walk at the same time would be the best addition. I live in a good location (Alexandria,old town) , very close to multiple trails and parks, so I and dogs wouldn't need s car to get to great place for a walk. But at the same time I love driving, go on car trips all the time, so it's not a problem to take doggies with me .
I live in a good, clean and not very small townhouse, with 2 very friendly roommates, we have a great spacious basement, with a full access to the back yard, where a doggie can feel free all the time, I'm fine with the dog staying in my room on my bad, never had problems with that before, my own dog always did it.

Note: Due to home renovations in progress I am NOT accepting in-home boarding at this time. However, I am providing in-home care in the Alexandria, Old Town and Arlington areas. I enjoy exploring different neighborhoods while puppy gets a walk!

If your dog(s) qualifies as one who "Does not play well with others" and needs to be the only dog in the house then the Byrd's Nest is for you! When you make a reservation, upon request I will block my calendar from other reservations to accommodate that "solo dog" need.

Extensive dog sitting experience. Single family home with 4 foot chain link fenced yard in addition to doggie walks. I currently do NOT have a dog but I grew up with basset hounds and later had two boxers.

I love large breeds that drool and slobber! All dogs shown in my photos are past visitors. Doggie can stay in the bed with me or in a doggie bed (owner's choice). As you can see from my visitor's photo on the coffee table I am fine with dogs on the furniture but will honor owners' wishes regarding furniture. No people food unless cleared by the owners. You are welcome to bring a crate over if your dog prefers that. Only two steps down to my level backyard, otherwise my home has one-level living, ideal for a dog who has difficulty with stairs.

I'm in a small, single family home four (4) blocks to Metro (Huntington) and close to National (DCA) and I-495 for easy doggie drop off.

Lastly, I have about 10 years herp experience. If you need iguana or snake care I can try to accommodate that need.

I have been a pet owner, a dog lover and often trainer for the last 17 years. I have raised two sable and white Shelties and pet sat for numerous dogs, cats and fish over the years. I believe I understand pet's needs and read their body language well to keep them happy. Serving pets' needs is very satisfying and relaxing to me. I am fortunate to work from home or pretty much anywhere with WiFi access, so I enjoy spending time walking/running/playing with the pets I sit with. During warmer weather I take them out for frequent walks so they are free to roam inside and out -a routine they tend to enjoy. I never crate pets unless requested by the owners. When I stay at someone's house I enjoy multiple walks and lots of attention for the pets I sit for and I send lots of photos throughout the sitting so you won't miss him/her too much!

My name is Alie and I have been caring for pets for over 18 years. I currently work Monday-Friday, with flexibility to work from home some days. I will have plenty of time when I'm home to take great care of your pup and have lots of fun! I'm totally free on weekends. I am the sitter for you because as a former mommy to a Boxer Mix I know what kind of TLC dogs need. I love walks, playing, dog parks and snuggling!

I welcome last minute bookings, as it seems to be how I get most of my business. My prices may fluctuate a few dollars for last minute bookings due to having to adjust my schedule or holiday weekends. It is always my pleasure to accommodate you and your pup's needs.

Holiday prices for the week(s) of the following:

$50.00 per pup (in my home); $45.00 per pup if 2 are from same home
$60.00 per pup (in pup's home-multiple checks and hanging out with them per day, as well as pups who need/prefer to be the only dog in the house); $55.00 per pup if 2 are from same home

*there will be a $20 daycare charge for pick-ups after 4:00 on Sunday evenings and 8:30 during the week.


I am a teacher who loves being around pups and giving them the love they are accustomed to while you are away. Please be sure to read my information provided and let me know if you have any questions! I'm looking forward to caring for your furry-ones while you are out of town! :)

If your pup prefers to be the only one in the house while you're away, that is OK! Let me know ahead of time, and I am happy to make my calendar "unavailable" so that he/she can have all of my attention, which would be $48 a night.

Unfortunately, if your pup "speaks" quite a bit when by themselves, I will not be able to watch him/her due to my home's thin walls. Please also make sure your pup is house trained and is up to date on their shots.

PLEASE READ:

***I only accept dogs under 25lbs. All dogs should be crate trained/house broken, spayed/neutered, up to date on all vaccines and on a flea prevention. I do encourage our dogs to meet beforehand (Meet & Greet), as making sure that I'm the right sitter is my top priority. All rates are based on one dog.
I also do not have the pups sleep in my bed,so please make sure they are OK sleeping in their crate and/or on a dog-bed for their stay.

***I can only host hypoallergenic breeds due to allergies.

*** I will not board a dog who has separation anxiety, barks at other dogs aggressively or needs care 24-7 as I might be working during the day or their barking will disrupt the neighbors.

Hi - I'm Leo, and that's my mom Igda. We joined Dog Vacay and are looking forward to meeting some new buddies.
My mom works from home and I get bored playing by myself all day, so I finally convinced her to let me start hosting daycare and sleepovers with my new furry friends.

We live in a 2-story townhome with a small-medium yard space and nearby walking trails/dog park.
My home is very dog-friendly, and includes an enclosed, outdoor side-yard for playtime and much-needed bathroom breaks.

I am a student who enjoys watching and spending time with all dogs! I have been pet sitting and boarding for over 5 years and I have experience with puppies, seniors who require medication, and dogs in between! I would be happy to meet you and your pet(s) before arranging a stay. I appreciate instructions and any notes about routine or restrictions you might have for your pet. If your pet has any potty issues please pass those along, it won't deter me from welcoming your pet into my home but I would like to make modifications to my living space. Because I am a student there are parts of the day I will not be home but there will never be a time he or she is left alone for more than 2 hours. I share my apartment with my long time boyfriend who also loves and boards dogs. If you feel we might be a good fit please reach out I'd love to meet you and your pet!

My wife Sarah and I believe dog sitting should take place in the comfort of a loving home. From daily check-ins, pictures and more you will always know what your pup is up to.

As DogVacay customers ourselves, we understand how important it is to know that your dog is in safe hands. My wife and I will do all that we can to ensure that you and your pup have the best experience possible. We've both owned dogs our whole lives, therefore we know how to best care for your fur baby.

We have a dog named Ava who's a four year old boxer/hound mix, and she's always looking for a new friend to play with. We're looking forward to taking care of your dog next!

Hi there! I have a 15-year-old mix breed pup, Chloe, who enjoys sleeping all day and long walks around the community! Your pup will be well taken care of with at least 4 walks per day (and weather permitting, dog park visits!) Chloe is a bit grumpy, and mostly ignores pet visitors, so a hyper pup may not be the best fit.

Your pup will have free range of the house and is welcome on furniture (unless you instruct not to). **I live in a townhouse, and the main living level is on the 2nd floor. I don't mind carrying a small pup up/down, but larger pups may not be a great fit** I have the ability to work from home on some days and will work with you to best fit your pup's needs! If I do go into the office, I do have a mid-day dog walker that comes and can take the pups out for a potty break, or I come home mid-day and telework the rest of the evening!

On the weekends, I am usually home except for an errand here and there. When I do leave the house, the pups are always separated, Chloe usually stays gated in the kitchen area and the other pup has free range (unless otherwise noted by owner).

I treat guest pups as they are my own and they will receive lots of love and cuddles! I love all dogs of all sizes and breeds!

Drop-off/Pick-up times are flexible, but I typically prefer them to be between 6am-9pm. If it needs to be later, an extra night may be best, especially since we can never trust some of those airlines!

I typically only take 1 pup at a time, unless it's a repeat client who I've worked with before, and know their dog's tendencies. If you prefer a solo guest, just let me know and I'll be more than happy to accommodate!
