I have experience with obedience classes and training with my family pets and understand utilize basic commands such as "heal" "left" "right". I tend to be firm with how I choose to handle listening, for instance, if the dog is not listening we will sit and wait until he/she does listen or the walk will be cut short if the behavior is bad enough. All of this comes with follow up messages from me
to you letting you know about the walk.
Other than being strict with my walking discipline, I usually take my walks at a brisk pace for energized dogs, but for seniors, special needs (rescue), or puppies, I tend to slow my pace in order to keep a closer eye on movements and tendencies. I am a vocal walker, I do not listen to music or tune or, I pay close attention to the dog and my surroundings and vocally check in with the dog to let them know how they're doing, either with encouragement, reassurance, or with discipline (never harsh).
If you have special commands for your dog please pass those along, I respect that every trainer/obedience program has its own qualities, I do not want to undo the training with my own commands.
