I love animals of all kinds but really love working with dogs because it keeps me active. I enjoy taking dogs for walks around the neighbourhood or on local trails, or just to play in a backyard or park.

I currently prefer to care for animals in their own home and I have experience doing so, as well as a clean police record.

I am available for overnight stays or check in visits for cats or dogs as well as dog walking. If you have rabbits, hamsters or other small pets as well I can ensure they have fresh food and water, change their bedding and provide play time for them as well while you are away.Please contact me for great care at reasonable rates.

I'm an animal lover and a professional living in downtown Hamilton, Ontario. I live with my sister and our sweet feline fur babies, Nika and Hydra. I work from home so am looking for some furry friends to keep me company during the day.

I have lots of experience with both dogs and cats. I have been a foster mom for Hammer City Paws and owned a standard poodle for 5 years (who now lives with his dad, my ex).

I live in a spacious apartment in a pet-friendly low-rise with a private entrance. There is also a large balcony where your pup can get some fresh air. There are trails, parks, dog parks, and even dog friendly cafes near by, so there will be plenty of opportunities for your pup to socialize with other dogs and keep busy.

Your dog will be spoiled with affection, play-time and treats and we will go above and beyond to make sure that your dog is comfortable and happy during his or her stay.

My only restrictions are dogs that are aggressive and dogs that are not good with cats.

I love love love animals. I have always owned and lived with animals. Ever since I was young I knew working with animals was what I wanted to do. My mind has changed from vet to vet tech to zoo keeper to farm owner. No matter where my mind went it always was about animals, so growing up that's the only thing I got experience in. I volunteered at the spca, did coop at 2 different pet stores and currently work at another. Not to mention I have always lived with animals as well. Mostly cats and dogs but I genuinely love all animals and would love to watch them for you!

My name is Eden and I am a student at McMaster university. Currently my school schedule is very light leaving me lots of time to run about. At home in Toronto my family owns 2 dogs, Loki (American Eskimo) and Suzi (German Sheppard Rotti mix who has a number of back issues). I have always had animals growing up such as fish, birds, cats, dogs and I had a hedge hog for awhile as well. I miss my dogs and cats which is why I am registering for this because I want animals to cuddle and love and to use up my spare time wisely. I have cat sit a couple times over the years as well as dog sit. My one sister works at an emergency vet clinic back home so we are constantly fostering animals and I learn a lot from her about the care of each individual animal. I have a number of trails located by my house that my one dog Suzi enjoyed when she came to visit me. I love walking around with dogs and cuddling them. I hope to hear from you all soon!

Hello! My name is Julia, and I'm a 20 year old BSc. Nursing student at McMaster University. I love dogs so so much, and have owned & cared for my own pets for over 13 years!

Back in my hometown of Uxbridge, Ontario, I am the proud owner of a 13-year-old Cockapoo named Suzy. Caring for Suzy for so long has provided me with lots of experience, including puppy care, post-operative pet care, emergency vet visits, medication administration, and senior dog care (Suzy, in her old age, is incontinent and has a bit of dementia). I also have experience caring for my father's 3-year-old Bouvier des Flandres named Chelsey, as well as several other people's dogs. Thus, I am able to care for any dog of any age, large or small!

I currently live in a secure, dog-friendly student home in Westdale Village, a quiet neighbourhood situated around McMaster University. I do not have any pets in this home, making it the perfect hotel for dogs that are not comfortable sharing spaces with other pets. I live with three other girls (all 19+) that also own/love dogs and will often be around to hang out with your pet while I attend my classes. That being said, my class schedule is quite light - your pet would be left unattended in my home for a maximum of only 2-4 hours on any given day.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Due to my busy student lifestyle (and my full house), I cannot care for dogs that are prone to excessive barking, whining, scratching, or other noisy behaviours! Myself and my housemates spend the majority of our time at home studying and sleeping, and prefer quiet, calm pups :)

I live approximately 10 minutes (on foot) from the Cootes Paradise Conservation Area, a large and beautiful forest that features an extensive network of dog-friendly trails. I also live close to Churchill Park, which consists of several open fields that are perfect to run around and play fetch in. Cootes Paradise and Churchill Park are where I would take your furry friend(s) for as many as 3 walks per day (a morning, mid-day, and evening walk).

I love to walk dogs at a pace ranging anywhere from a leisurely stroll to an active hike/run. I enjoy going on adventures and letting them have fun - I don't mind cleaning them up if they get a little wet and muddy! My walks are generally about 30 minutes each, but I don't mind lessening or extending that time depending on what the dog feels like doing that day. I am comfortable walking both big and small dogs, and I don't mind walking them solo or in small groups. Finally, I have my own car and am more than willing to drive your pup to and from their favourite walking spot. :)

While staying in my home, your pup will have the run of the place! I have no problem with your dog being on my furniture or exploring all the rooms in my house. However, if you would like your dog to remain in a secure area while being left unattended, it is possible for me to keep it in my living room (it has a door that closes tightly & a hardwood floor that is easy to clean).

I also want to mention that I am extremely affectionate and will give your dog LOTS of snuggles, pats, and hugs.

Finally, it is important to note that I have my own vehicle and, if need be, will be able to drive your pet to and from the nearest vet/animal hospital at a moment's notice.

Recently in the last year I've been volunteering at Silver Willow Farm, located in York, ON. Silver Willow is a rescue farm for many individuals; dogs, cats, horses, etc. With rescuing comes many behavioural issues such as aggression, chewing, play-biting, etc. I have farm-sat, dog-sat & cat-sat multiple times and there's probably not one job that can get better than playing with animals 80% of the time. The most important therapy for a dog is the relationship he/she builds with the person who walks with them.

I attended Mohawk College for Massage Therapy and continue to educate myself in Health & Wellness. My future goals are to attend Veterinarian School at Guelph University & educate everyone on the importance of breeds and exercise.

We are two girls currently studying at McMaster University. We have both had life-long experiences with dogs, and both miss having a furry face around. We are fun-loving roommates, who would put the needs of each dog first. Our schedules allow for at least one of us to always be home, and we look forward to many play dates!

Growing up surrounded by family pets, and being able to care for my own rambunctious puppy has given me the patience, and skill to care for all breeds and personalities of dogs. I live in a smoke free home, and have access to a vehicle which allows for little adventures, such as hikes in surrounding areas! A day of activity, and adventure is something I hope to offer pets, rather than being bound inside four walls.

My name is Karolina and I am a true animal lover at heart. In my short but eventful lifetime I've owned Cats, Dogs, Horses, Ferrets, Rats, Turtles, Fish, Salamanders/Newts and many other little critters I could get my hands on. As a child I decided I wanted to keep animals off my plate, and have been a vegetarian for almost 20 years. Currently I own 2 dogs, 2 horses and a betta. Life is never boring. Because of this I would prefer to do a meet and greet to see how our dogs would get along prior to taking anyone on.

A fenced yard with grass is accessible at all times, and walks will be provided as required. In-home sitting also available within reasonable distance. I can provide special care and grooming at an additional cost

Me and my husband love dogs and have been running a Doggie business for 4 years. We have 2 Golden retrievers a 12 year old that we give pain medication daily as her poor hips are very sore. Plus we have a 5 month Golden Retriever that loves meeting new people and new dogs. They have full access to the whole house and yard. The yard is fully fenced with a 6ft fence. We also have a pool that is gate protected. There is parks, trails and the beach all very close. When your fury friend is at our place they will be treated like they are one of our own. Usually it is our dogs on yours, this helps with the one to one attention. Someone is home 24/7 to make sure that all your fury friends needs are met.

ONLY REQUIREMENT THERE MUST BE A MEET AND GREET BETWEEN MY DOGS AND YOURS.
