Because I live in the dorms, I can not have animals with me, so I would love to be able to hang out with them while also making a little extra money. I love all animals, especially dogs and cats, and size or breed doesn't matter to me.

My name is Danielle (Dani). I LOVE animals. I've always owned pets since I was a child, from fish to dogs and cats and birds. All of the pets I've owned are rescues; I really love being able to give back and give animals a good home, especially those that may have had a rough start.

Right now I have a very flexible schedule that would allow me to spend large amount of time with your pets as I am a recent college graduate and job hunting.

I am an avid dog/animal lover who enjoys the company of any four legged, furry friend! I currently own one dog, Rosco, who is the light of my life! I also have experience dog sitting my friends' and family's dogs while they are out of town. Because of this, Rosco is always a very warm host and tirelessly makes sure his new furry friend feels more than welcome in his home. I am currently between jobs so I'm always home to help care for any new furry guest and help preoccupy their time. I always make sure to provide plenty of potty breaks/play time outside because no dog wants to stay cooped up in the house all day! I live in a house in a quiet neighborhood on the outskirts of Norman with my boyfriend Brad who is an avid animal lover himself! My house is very spacious, with a fenced in backyard so there is no need to worry about your companion slipping out or being lost. I prefer to stay outside during said potty breaks/play time, too, when they are in the backyard because, as we all may know, a dog isn't 100% secure in a fenced in backyard without a little supervision! Rosco has never given me a reason not to trust him getting loose, I just prefer to stay outside with him for my own peace of mind. I also enjoy going for nice walks around our neighborhood and visiting Norman's dog park that is only about a block away. I don't really have any restrictions, I just ask that any new potential furry guests be dog friendly...for Rosco's sake. And, most importantly up to date on all of their vaccinations. I like to think that my family and friends cherish my love for animals, and are able to leave their pets in my care without a worry in the world!

I have grown up my entire life owning several breads of dogs. My current dog is a very fun loving and friendly Beagle named Kinsey (Kinz for short). I've had Kinsey since she was 10 weeks old and she is definitely my fur baby! Kinz and I have moved a few times or my job so she has gotten to explore many fun places! Kinz basically has the run of the house here in Norman (except carpeted rooms while I am gone). She is a very sweet and affectionate girl that still plays like a puppy. We love to spend our time together playing frisbee in the yard or park, claying with her ample amount of squeak toys, snuggling on the couch reading a good book or catching up on our tv shows, going for walks, and even sometimes practicing new tricks for treats! Through learning how to help her cope with her separation anxiety I have learned that she absolutely loves being around other dogs. I had roommates through college and she loved having their dogs in the house to spend time with during the day. I can't bring myself to own another dog in case I have to move again so we would love to have friends come over for sleepovers! or play days :) My family also owns an old farm back home and has made friends with several of the barn cats over the years .She always considers everyone her bestest friend.

With Kinsey's separation anxiety, kennels are the last place she hopes to find herself. So if you're like me, and looking for a place your beloved pet can feel at home and part of the family, while you're away consider us now family! :)

About me: I have lots of experience with long terms dogs that I have watched or still currently watching. I watch two German shepherds for a little over 6 months. The owner travels back and forth for his job every week so he hired me permanently for his dogs when he travels. One of them was still a puppy when he started to use my services. I got to watch her grow and developed a strong bond with her. I also have watched various of other dogs at long terms for different reasons which lasted anywhere from two to three months. I would be more than happy to provide their info if you wish to speak to them as a reference so that you feel more secure on your pups stay. I am also a foster for dogs that are either lost, abused, abandoned, and other various reasons. I will first try to find their owner if they are lost or wandering. I have done that for three dogs that got out of their backyard I'm supposing and was wandering around. I didn't want them to get ran over and I don't have the heart to drive away. However, I usually reunited them with their family within 24 hours thanks to the help of social media. With that being said, I try to keep lots of extra doggy treats, play toys, and everything else that may be accommodating for your pup on their stay to make them feel more at home. I will send updates as frequently as I can and hope to give you the best stress free service.
