I work from home and my dog has never met another pup he doesn't like. Your furry family member(s) will have the run of my large apartment with my dog Elf. You can count on beautiful walks through the Lower Garden District and Coliseum Square when weather permits. City Bark member? No problem! We are, too, so I'm happy to take up to two dogs at a time to the park. We even visit Wisner Dog Run from time to time.

Food aggressive? They can be fed separately. Possessive of toys? We can put them away. Need medication? No problem. Just let me know your pup's needs and nuances and we'll work something out.

Elf and I love the company of other dogs. He is ecstatic to have other dogs to play with at the house and loves nothing more than to share his toys and home for a play date.

I do take puppies, but at a higher nightly rate to provide them with all the attention and care a young pup needs. Puppies under 6 months old book for $40/night and puppies 6 mos - 12 mos are $35/night. If you ever have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask!

I am originally from NYC, I moved to NOLA for an AmeriCorp assignment and have fallen in love with city and decided to make this my new home. I have a 4 year old Yorkshire Terrier name Snoop and a 1 year old Rotweiler mix named Gambit who are super friendly and loves new friends.

I have been a dog sitter and walker in New York City for 4 years now and want to make it my full time career in New Orleans, hoping to open a pet day care. I am currently a foster for the Jeferson Parish Animal shelter and the LASPCA on the west bank. I love animals, have lots of spare time and it is an amazing thing for Snoop and Gambit to have constant friends around.

I am a very outdoorsy person so if you would like I would love to spend the day with your baby at a dog park out just outside enjoying the weather. Snoop, Gambit and I are usually out for a few hours daily to release some his puppy energy.

My shotgun apartment has back door access to the yard that is completely fenced in and I am quick drive/bike ride to City Park, dogs also have there own room in my home.

I am open to attending appointments (grooming/vet.)

I have experience in giving oral and injected medication (my grandparents have a diabetic maltipoo), an caring for animals that have recently had surgery.

I am kitten and puppy bottle feeding trained.

Hi, I'm Denise. I've been in the pet care industry for over 10 years - much of that as a business owner, myself - and I've lived with and loved animals my entire life. I've done everything from dog walking to pet sitting to working in a doggie daycare and high-end boutique!

I create a loving relationship with each and every pet I care for. They are all so unique and lovable, how could I not? I treat my own dog like a part of my family, and whether it's a one-time deal or a recurring service, your pets will also become a part of my family.

My rental has dog restrictions, and I'm really missing time with pooches! (So unfortunately I'm unable to host in my home. Please be sure to note specifically what services I can offer. I have years of experience house and pet sitting, and am happy to provide references.) I was raised around dogs, since I was born. I've spent 4 years doing care jobs for dogs outside of my family home. One of the dogs I cared for regularly had been extremely abused and had severe separation anxiety, PTSD, aggression issues, and multiple physical health ailments. I'm comfortable and familiar administering both oral and subcutaneous injection forms of medication to both cats and dogs. I have a cat of my own, and love those little fur balls tremendously, as well! I have owned reptiles and am familiar with the care of bearded dragons and ball pythons. I have experience caring for farm animals, including sheep (and bottle-fed lambs), chickens, horses, and rabbits. I'd love to help an animal's family out when they aren't able to be around as often as they'd like; I'm well-qualified, and furthermore get so much joy and fulfillment out of getting to spend time amongst our four-legged friends!

I am a professional animal care taker (zookeeper), with a degree in animal behavior and have a ton of experience with animals WAY harder to deal with than dogs! I have also worked in an SPCA shelter and for 2 years as a part-time dog trainer. I currently have a young dog that is great with other dogs and could use some occasional friends/doggie sleepovers! I'm comfortable with just about any dog (or cat, or gerbil, or duck...) but they must get along with other dogs and not have any severe behavioral issues (aggression) to stay with me. I can provide training, nail trimming, baths, and a plenty of snuggling and play time! I can deal with animals with some medical issues or separation anxiety, and am willing to abide by whatever the rules are for the dog at home - crating, allowed on beds, couches, etc. I do go to work from 7 AM to 3:30 PM every day, but rest assured, pups will be fed and exercised immediately before and after my work day. After work, there is ample time for playing in my yard, walks, or a few small training sessions. I am capable of working with any dog, but would prefer pups that are fixed and house broken.

My home has a medium-large (by New Orleans standards) 100% fenced-in backyard and is only two blocks from the Crescent City Dog Park! I am willing to give your pet as much playtime as their particular level of energy requires, including daily walks, games of fetch, and trips to the park! I am happy to provide you with photo updates throughout the stay as often as you like! I have experience house sitting and can care for any type of pet in your home (dog, cat, small mammals/rodents, reptiles, fish etc.) I can care for dogs in my home, but can only accept dogs for boarding that are friendly with other dogs, as I often board more than one dog at a time.

I have over 25 years of experience with domestic and exotic animals: marine mammals, birds, fish, reptiles, dogs, cats, etc. I have been spent my entire life around animals and have been fortunate enough to care for them all, big and small. Training is my expertise, but I am experienced with medical needs as well. I love all animals and am devoted to their well being. I make gourmet dog treats from scratch, I believe homemade food and treats are especially nutritious for our furry babies! *** and they seem to love them***

My house is a shotgun! They love to run from room to room! All furniture is to a minimum and largely pushed back to provide plenty of play space.


I also use an all natural spray, I make with citrus fruits, lavender leaves, and witch hazel.. **It is said the citrus repels fleas!**

I am very clean, daily cleaning of my wood floors and the kitchen tiling **sweeping and mopping with a little bleach and my natural spray**

My family and I have had ALL TYPES OF PETS since I was a little girl. Our pets are most certainly our family members! !

I do not have a pet at the moment, particularly waiting for the right time ** I still grieve the lost of my own baby Teylour** However becoming a pet sitter has been great therapy for me!
