Your pet will enjoy a quiet relaxing time with me in my complex with my full attention. I have a big back yard in my townhouse that is fenced so your little friend and I can go outside. Being a long time owner within my complex I know my neighbor's and am familiar with all the surroundings. I have cared for small dogs in my life as a primary care giver as well as volunteered at the Coquitlam Animal Shelter. All volunteers must take a city approved Animal course to work at the shelter. My townhouse has lots of space for them to roam around in. A typical day will involve going for walks at the park across the street, jogs in Mundy park and frequent bathroom breaks around the complex which has the most landscaped townhouse complex in Coquitlam. We could play any games your pet likes to play as well. I'm a very patient person and a good listener. I really want to enjoy my time with your pet and want to ensure you're happy as well.

I've grown up with animals-- it's quite possible I like them even more than humans!

When your pup and I spend the day together, she'll get lots of attention as I work from home (or wherever my laptop is). There will be frequent walks: little short work-break walks, and a long walk in nature--hopefully at a nearby park or lake. I'll throw a ball or a frisbee until your pup has had enough, and I love a good game of tug-o-war.

Work has me travelling often so it's impractical for me to have a dog of my own, but when I'm in town, you'll find me with my parents' senior dog, giving her lots of loving, taking her for daily walks, and giving her both oral and injected medicine twice daily. She went blind a couple years ago, but it hasn't slowed her down one bit.

Bonus: I'm a photographer, so you know you'll get some fantastic pictures of your furry friend from our time together.

Hello~ we are a young, married couple who love animals! Both of us are Registered Veterinary Technicians actively working in the field between 3 - 7 years now. We have 2 dogs, a cat, 5 birds and 2 chinchillas. We have both dog/cat sitted for other clients, and we loved it and decided to open an account with dogvacay. We're comfortable with long or short bookings, boarding or house-sitting, giving medications, and grooming.

On our days off, we like to go hiking with the dogs and we would be more than happy to take your dog along with us! Walks can be either just client's dogs, or with our two dogs if dogs get along. Can be hikes (ie. Buntzen lake) or trail (Mundy Park on or off leash) or just walk through the neighbourhood. This will depend on client wishes, dogs personality and age, and weather! Talk to us and we can customize to you and your pet's desire.

We have a large house with front and back yard access for your little ones, with private rooms available for them if they require privacy. We both work full-time, but are flexible with a days notice to accommodate your plans. Try us out! You won't regret it! We will work together to make sure your loved ones are looked after so you can relax and enjoy life.

Since a young age, I've always had a passion for animals. I started working in the dog grooming business as a teenager and continued into adulthood. I've managed more than one successful grooming salon as well as a dog daycare. My home has 1 cat, 2 ferrets, a snake, and my own dog as well as a visiting dog here and there. Certified in Pet First Aid through Walks 'N' Wags Pet First Aid as well as Karen Pryor Dog Training Foundations, I come with plenty of applicable experience as well as a passionate and warm heart.

I have a very large backyard that is fully fenced, my dogs go out for 3-4 walks a day, so will yours. My dogs are never left outside unattended. I take my dogs on hikes and they love to swim. I am home 98% of the time.

March of 2011 I signed up to foster a puppy and then on May 14th of 2011 i received a mom Minature Pinscher X Chihuahua (you can see her sitting on my dog Thor), and 5 puppies. The puppies were 2 days short of 6 weeks old when they arrived. I had the puppies until August 2011 they left me at 41/2 months. The littlest pup went first, which i pet sit from time to time still and the other 2 boys both went to a couple in M.R. on Aug 27th, then one of the female pups left on August 28th. I kept one of the pups. The mom left me the beginning of Sept. She was more work then the pups, but very affectionate. I still talk to the couple that took her. She has a puggle to harass now. So summer of 2011 i had 9 animals in my house. My 2 big dogs and a cat plus the 6 fosters. It was fun.

The dogs I will except have to be on a flea program and should not be nuisance barkers, obsessive barking will put them on time out. They should be social around other dogs and humans also obey commands.

They should love to be loved.
