Hi there I'm Kathleen, My animal loving ways first began on my grandpa's farm with his chickens, cows and horses. But even when I moved to Toronto, my family and I got a turtle, cat, dog and most recently, a bird! In the past, I’ve worked at numerous vet clinics, at the Toronto Humane Society as an animal care attendant and a pet store as a sales associate. Although I don’t work in the animal industry currently, being a pet owner and working at these places enabled me to have a proven ability to watch animals in boarding, administer medication, provide walks as well as entertain. My time working at a pet store also gave me insight on pet nutrition which no doubt can be handy! Aside from more domesticated animals, I also love volunteering at animal sanctuaries and most recently I volunteered at an elephant rehab centre in Thailand for abused and neglected elephants most notably in the tourism industry. This should add further proof when it comes to my dedication for animal welfare and protection. Therefore, I can assure you that your pets are in good hands!
