Your pup's 2nd best friend

Pet care experience

🏳️‍🌈 I'm a very responsible, experienced and caring pet sitter. In addition to being an engineer, art enthusiast, and former dancer, I consider myself a devoted friend and animal lover. My family and I have been dog-sitting for almost a decade now, and we always do our best to make sure your beloved pet has a great time with us. I love dogs and really enjoy playing with them, cuddling with them, and taking them for walks. I have a dog of my own, which means I have slowly accumulated a large collection of dog-related essentials, including dog tags with my contact information, leashes with handy add-ons for walks, harnesses, collars, carriers, bowls, pee pads, shampoo, deodorant, brushes, treats, chewing toys, balls, squeaky toys, and puzzle toys. I can bring any of these to use while I care for your pet if you just let me know beforehand. I am not a certified trainer but I continually work on expanding my knowledge on the subject. I am certified in Pet CPR & First Aid, I have completed Holly&Hugo Animal Psychology and Pet Sitting courses with Distinction, and I'm a lifetime member of Professional United Pet Sitters (PUPS). I appreciate the amount of trust people place in me when they let me take care of their pets or let me into their homes, and I promise to be responsible and respectful. My definition of fun is playing board games and watching movies, so I can assure you that I won't do anything you wouldn't want me to. I will follow all your instructions closely and will send you pictures as often as you want so you can have peace of mind while you are away. Why I love dog sitting: My poodle Poofy kept me company and played with me since I was in the crib. Afterward, my cocker Marilyn kept me sane almost all the way through high school. My best friend is a cuddly 6-year-old Havanese who looks like an adorable teddy bear. Other breeds of dogs that have been part of my family: Shar Pei, Boxer, Maltese, and Scottish Terrier. Before I started dog-sitting on Rover, I looked after Ginger for a few days while my friend was on vacation. The lovely Boston Terrier you see in my pictures is the reason I started dog-sitting. NOTE: there is an additional charge of $10/day for puppies and senior dogs that can't be left unattended or need special care, and for bookings that begin before 8am or after 9pm.

Violeta is a superstar!! My very shy and anxious 7-month-old puppy is going through a big scary phase being in heat and having some other health issues, requiring a few medications. I was worried about leaving her for more than a few hours, and Violeta was the perfect match to look after her. She was confident and totally capable of caring for my baby Roo, and was so patient while Roo warmed up to her. She sent me pictures through the night with updates, and made me feel really at ease. Roo was so comfortable and clearly felt safe with Violeta. Every dog owner needs a Violeta in their life!!!

Violeta was a pleasure to have in our home taking care of our fur baby! She went over and beyond to make sure she was taken care of. We would absolutely book her again and welcome her into our home.

I had an amazing experience having Violeta house-sitting for us and taking care of my two cats. Violeta is calm, organized and very punctual. She sent me regular updates without asking. Both of my boys warmed up to her quickly and they always looked so happy and relaxed the photos! The apartment was left in pristine condition when I came back. I will definitely become a regular client from now on.
