About Jordan

10 Years Experience Caring For Dogs
Hi! My name is Jordan.

I grew up surrounded by four dogs, and my fondness for pets has never faded. I had a large (Australian Shepard), medium (Collie mix), small (Puggle) and extra-small (Toy Poodle).

In college, I was a dog walker in Washington DC and have since moved to LA to live in a animal friendly apartment.

My apartment in the heart of LA with a modest front yard, and a park within walking distance with ample space to play.

I'm a young, recent college graduate, full of energy and time to dedicate to your dog.

I started up with DogVacay a year and a half and it's been an amazing experience.

I babysit 3:00 - 8:00 Monday through Thursday, and if the dogs are good with children, I happily bring them along where they get plenty of extra love.

I know how to feed, walk, wash, medicate (if needed) dogs of all shapes and sizes.

Note: I love cats and offer cat sitting as well as dog sitting! I'm happy to stay at your house or visit your kitty while you're away.

I know how important it is to leave your dog with someone you trust. Not only will I be a great dog sitter, but I can update you as often as you'd like to give you the piece of mind to enjoy yourself wherever you happen to be.

I was nervous about leaving lucky with her but he had a really good time
Jordan is a really nice person. Lucky loves to stay with her and she always text me with his photos. I feel really comfortable leaving him with her.
Jordan was very accomodating and prompt getting back to me, both originally to respond to my inquiry and when we were exchanging details. She was friendly and seemed to have a great "way" with dogs; as mine, Theodore, seemed content in being there friendly and seemed to have a great "way" with dogs; as mine, Theodore, seemed content in being there when I arrived to pick him up. He seemed relaxed and not too jumpy to leave, and one can tell by their dog's behavior if they feel comfortable around others. Theo seemed so. She even sent me an unprompted update during the stay, a few hours before I was able to pick him up, to show he was doing just fine and was being playful. I liked very much that she is agreeable to same-day reservations, as I'd just flown in from abroad, and my friend's landlord doesn't allow pets. I much prefer the home-stay over a crowded kennel, where they're in a cage, usually. She also allows free reign/roaming in her whole home, so it's great they're not confined to just a small area or room or yard/kennel. It took me a while to get there, but by no fault of hers. Hey, it's Los Angeles, what do you expect? But it was a nice quiet building off a quiet side street in a nice neighborhood, which is, also, a plus. I would use her, again, if back in L.A. and under the same circumstances.
