About Susan Staci

25 Years Experience Caring For Dogs
First request is that your pets are well behaved and socialized into my family. We are a working natural organic farm and prefer your pets to be able to run freely and get along with others and not continually run off or start arguments with others. Most pets mimic their owners and we are very dedicated to natural living and hard work it is proven that living free and a peaceful in your environment is healthy for yourself and our pets. They are part of the family. Negative energy is not welcome. Dogs have come to live on our farm after boarding several times. They find us remember. My pet sitting service is located on a 14 acre working sustainablility farm. The nature surrounding the farm is abound. There are gardens, orchard, ponds, lush fields, trails, climate controlled pet room, 2 gated entries, fences surrounding property, and under construction a fenced play yard. Pets will be offered 3 walks a day, which are included in the nightly stay. Pets may also sleep in the sitter's home depending on the pet's needs. Sitter does not work outside the home and will be available to your pet 24 hours a day. Pets are always under the watchful loving care of the sitter, inside or outside. Classical music is played for all pets, inside and outside.

Sitter owns a Blue Heeler/Australian Shepherd, who is a trained service animal. There are 2 boxers, 2 male cats, and a small working chicken coop outside. Sitter is an avid hiker, kayaker, gardener, artist, and counselor by profession.

Sitter's background checks and resume are available for owners to view, as well as, vet records.

So glad I found Susan for Maximus to stay with. Got many pictures and texts keeping me informed about his stay. Lots of land for him to run and friends for him to play with. We will definitely have Maximus stay again.
Charles LOVES Staci!! He was there for 11 days and was quickly part of the "pack". He learned how to stay close off leash on the walks around the farm. He is so well behave on leash now and I can actually jug with him.
Staci was awesome keeping in touch with me and sent really great photos so I could see how much fun he was having.
I really enjoyed my tour of the farm when I dropped Charles off. What a really cool place! Her dogs are now bff's for Charles and her cat was a first for Charles and after a few days they became great friends!!
I HIGHLY recommend Staci to anyone wanting a relaxed, personal, and fun experience for their dog while out of town. I know that I will NEVER use anyone else while I am on vacation.

Thank you so much for EVERYTHING, Staci! Charles says hello and that he misses y'all!!!!

Our dog was attacked by another dog while staying with Susan. She wasn't sure which dog did it. We didn't hear anything about it until we picked him up. Even then the details were foggy. One of the wounds had abcessed under her care - we took our dog to the vet and they had to put in drain tubes. He is healing but was traumatized. We've been changing bandages for a week and administering medication. A disaster.

Susan seems like a nice person but we would never take our dog there again. She has three dogs of her own and was taking care of several others. All the dogs are together and are apparently not supervised since she didn't know which dog attacked our dog.

We can only hope he remains the playful and submissive dog he has always been when when he is with other dogs.

DogVacay was responsive to help us with our insurance claim with the vet bills but we are still out the $250 deductible and the money we paid for Susan to take care of our dog.

Susan was great! I received updated photo's and Waffles enjoyed her time in the large area of Susan's property. All of her own dogs seemed well trained and friendly. Waffles didn't want to leave.
Our dog Pippi had a great time! At our request, Staci kept us updated with pictures while we were gone, so I could see all the fun things Pippi was doing. The farm setting was ideal, and Pippi was able to see chickens and other critters. I'm glad she had such great care--so, so much better than boarding at a cold vet's office!

Maximus was well-taken care of. We received pictures and he obviously enjoyed his visit. Susan obviously has a knack for dogs, gives them exercise and truly cares for them. His stay there was like a vacation!
Susan was a great host, with a lovely space for her canine guests. I could tell my dog had a great time during his stay.
