As always Paris was fantastic and Brooklyn had a great time. She is always exhausted when she gets home,from playing with all her new friends

I feel sick that I left my dog Maple at Parisa's home for 6 days. There was such negligence and complete disregard for our instructions for our 8 year old beloved Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. Here are the problems we had and reasons we will NEVER be going back there: 1. When my husband dropped off Maple for her first visit - Parisa declined to let my husband see the property or areas where Maple would be staying. She told him to stay outside the gate - this is a red flag. When I went back to pick up Maple she only let me see out the window the small area where the dogs are and was very rude saying "stand right here!!!" only one spot in her home where I can actually stand and see the area where my dog will be staying. There were tons of dogs left unattended outside and I would bet that they do not sleep indoor in a cozy environment. 2. Parisa would not let my husband leave Maple's dog bed with her - which she loves more than anything. So I have no idea where Maple slept and with as many dogs as there were when I was there, I would bet outside on the cement. ***3. My feeding instructions were completely ignored and my dog who is 8 years old gained TWO pounds in 6 days. The bag of food with measuring cup for portion control was gone and Parisa went through the entire bag (which was a1.5 MONTHS WORTH OF FOOD) in 6 days. She couldn't find the measuring cup we left, and the food she was feeding my dog when I showed up was not Maples food and was 10 times the portion we normally give her. When you have an older dog with a bad hip, every pound they gain is incredibly bad for their health. 4. When I took Maple home - she pooped 8 TIMES in 1 hour and had diarrhea all night. My dog goes to the bathroom 2-3 times per day maximum. 5. When I asked Parisa about feeding and why all of Maple's food was gone, and where her cup was and why my dog was heaving and waddling and looked extremely heavy - she defensively retorted "Do you think I ate all of her dog food???" In general her attitude and demeanor was very off-putting and extremely rude. I went to the Vet immediately from Parisa's to have my dog weighed and she gained exactly 2 pounds in 6 days. If you are a 150 pound person that is like gaining 15 pounds in 1 week - can you imagine how much you would have to eat??? 6. I asked Parisa to send a few updates while we were gone (as other dogvacay hosts have always sent pictures and texts which is nice) and 4 days after I had requested it, I texted Parisa once more and she sent 1 picture and that was it. This is not major but - I highly doubt the dogs are given much personal attention if I had to ask multiple times and only got 1 text in 6 days. I advise caution to anyone leaving their dog here. I will never be back.
