I am a professional developer living and working in Mountain View. I grew up around dogs and all kinds of animals from rabbits to alpacas. These days, although I don't currently have any pets myself, I enjoy playing with the dogs of my friends and relatives. Also, my office is very dog friendly; more than ten percent of my company brings their dogs to work on a regular basis. I enjoy dogsitting for my colleagues whenever they need help.
My girlfriend, with whom I live, has raised 5 dogs since she was young. I find her special affinity with animals to be one of her most endearing qualities. We live near several parks next to downtown Mountain View and we are well equipped to handle dogs of all varieties, sizes, and personalities.
I am also getting involved with an exciting new volunteer startup called Walkzee that matches walkers with shelters. The dogs wear 'adopt me' vests and the experience helps the animals both in the short (the walk itself) and in the long term (potential adoption).
We currently have no pets of our own (other than our finicky bonsai trees) so you can rest assures that your special canines will have our undivided attention. We do plan to adopt a dog of our own in the future; perhaps sometime early next year.
We live near downtown Mountain View and we often go on walks to our quaint downtown and to our many local parks. Our neighborhood is quiet and very dog friendly. We are close to the Mountain View Caltrain station with easy access to 101, 85, and central expressway.
For more active dogs, we enjoy playing fetch and frisbee, but we are also happy to relax at home with older dogs while we listen to music and have fun inside. All breeds and sizes are welcome, for a walk, for the day, or while you are away on vacation.
We look forward to meeting you and your furry friends!
