About Chad

12 Years Experience Caring For Dogs
Hi! My girlfriend (Audrey, 26y/o) and I (Chad, 27) recently moved back to PHX after 2 years living in New Orleans for work. We each have a bachelor's degree, mine in Management and hers in Psychology, and she is currently pursuing a graduate degree to be a Physician’s Assistant. We both love animals and frequently volunteer to watch our friends’ and co-workers’ pets when they are out of town. Together, we care for our dog Major. He is a medium sized four year old retriever-mix weighing about 60lb. He loves to play with other dogs of all shapes and sizes. I have yet to meet a dog he didn’t like or wasn’t able to get along with. He loves having friends over and showing them his house!

We live in a two-story house (roughly 2000 SF) in a great neighborhood with a private fully fenced-in yard. Our two roommates have a small dog (Lola, probably 15 lbs) who is extremely friendly. We have access to a couple local parks included one with a perimeter fence that is great for letting them stretch their legs! Audrey takes Major on a walk or run most days in the evening if the weather cooperates.

Our schedules tend to contrast each other’s during the week, with me going to work earlier in the day and Audrey later in the morning or in the evenings. Fortunately, this means that there is nearly always someone at home playing and hanging out with the dogs! We also like to take walks (or runs) through the neighborhood in the evenings to unwind.

Throughout our life we have owned and cared for two Labradors, a Miniature Dachshund, a Weimaraner, a Miniature Australian Shepard and now Major (as well as a variety of other pets including hamsters, rabbits, cats, turtles, fish, lizards, frogs, and a sugar glider). Beyond that we have been around numerous other breeds of all ages, sizes, temperaments and personalities. We are comfortable with most medical needs and routines as well as daily/weekly hygiene needs. Anything your dog needs, we are more than happy to oblige!

A stay with us will consist of a daily walk (or two) and as much indoor/outdoor playtime at home with us and Major as they can handle. If you board over the weekend, we will make every attempt to include a trip to one of the local parks (weather permitting). We can offer complete supervision every evening after 5pm (as well as sparingly throughout the day) and all day Saturday & Sunday. We are never away from the house for more than a few hours at a time.

We are also able to provide transportation to a vet in case of an emergency (although none is expected). Please let us know if there is anything else we can help you with. We can't wait to meet you and your furry friend!

I was most impressed reading their reviews and felt more than comfortable leaving my two pups with them especially after our meet and greet. The day I picked up my pups after my vacation I could tell they took excellent care of my babies. I would highly recommend Chad and Audrey to anyone and I will definitely be using them in the future. I would even be happy to watch major if they needed a sitter. Thank you to Chad and Audrey for being awesome!
Completely great! They treated our girl like one of their own. They provided her with plenty of exercise and playtime and the best part is we received photos throughout our trip. Will definitely be returning!
Audrey and Chad were great host to our 6 month old puppy, Spencer. They are flexible and very accommodating. My puppy was strayed before we adopted him. So Spencer is scared of everything - other dogs, people. But it took just few minutes for Spencer @ Audrey's home to get warmed up. They were loving and took good care of him. Spencer was really happy when we picked him. Their Dog Major is well behaved and obedient. Spencer had a good time with him. I would definitely recommend them for others.
