I am an animal lover and dog mom who understands the bond that people have with their pets and how stressful it can be to leave them alone when necessary and want to alleviate the stress as much as possible while getting to enjoy time with your pet! I work full time but permanently work at home, which means your pet will never be left alone. Our house is spacious, dog proof, and very comfortable and clean with tons of dog beds and toys to entertain your pup and make them feel as if they’re at Disney for the day! We have a fully fenced in large front and back yard which the pups will have full access to and always love exploring, although we always monitor them when they’re spending time outside. Dogs are welcome on the furniture, if that is okay with you, and you're welcome to bring any beds or toys of their own! There are large, gorgeous parks within walking distance from our home as well, so we always love taking long walks and going on outings to the various parks and nature trails. We would welcome you into our home before booking so you can be comfortable with the apartment, and also acquaint yourself and your pup with my husband and I! My husband and I have extensive experience with both house and pet sitting. We have watched pets of all breeds, sizes, ages, and temperaments, so we know how to navigate and connect with your pet and give them the specialized love and care they need to make them the happiest and healthiest. We have experience with large breed dogs and are very knowledgeable about pet health, nutrition, and first aid, including dispensing medications and caring for pets with medical conditions who may require a bit more love, attention, and adherence to a routine or special care instructions. We are very knowledgeable about dog training principles, so we would be able to reinforce any training that you're currently working on so there isn't any progress lost in your absence! We have two sweet dogs of our own, Chelsea and Reggie, who love other dogs and would be ideal companions for yours. We would enjoy long walks with your dog to provide them with tons of exercise, attention and socialization, if desired. We always respect individual preferences regarding your dog’s eating, sleeping and socialization. I make sure to send update texts and tons of pictures while you're away, as I know how comforting it is to see your dog comfortable, safe and having a blast! In addition to providing your dog with a home while you are away, we are also available to watch them within your own home. We offer bathing services while watching your dog and have a car to transport them 24/7 if an emergency arises. We are flexible in regard to last minute arrangements and extending stay lengths. I have cultivated a green thumb in recent years and have a jungle of houseplants as well as thriving garden, so I would make sure your plants are well cared for as well. My husband is also great with lawn care and maintenance. We are both handy around the house so we know what to look out for in your absence and how to fix minor issues that may arise, so you know your home is being cared for and maintained. We don't mind light cleaning, as one of the best feelings is coming home after traveling to a tidy and clean house, so we aim to provide you that experience as well.
