Hi, I'm Natasha Loudermilk. I'm in my 30's and I've been professionally pet sitting since the year 2006. I have experience with exotics and farm animals, too. I train dogs using positive reinforcement, and stay current on pet CPR & First Aid. Your pet's health and safety are always my first priority.
I think it's so much fun to have doggy guests!!!! We have reasonable rates, and in most cases less than the cost of boarding at a nice facility. But your dog will have much more fun here, and lots more one-on-one cuddle and playtime. I'm home most of the time, so they get lots of attention and potty breaks.
ABOUT US: We are a family of 6. My husband and I have two fun-loving dogs under 10lbs (Peter's a Yorkie & Chloe's a Shih Tzu), and two young daughters who are very sweet and gentle with our furry house guests. We have a completely enclosed back deck with a small dog door for unlimited access to bask in the sun.
PLEASE NOTE: If your puppy or adult dog is not housebroken (not potty trained & has destructive tendencies), there will be an extra charge that covers any cleanup fees and positive training.
TRAINING: I can help train your dog using positive reinforcement methods. So let's talk if you're interested in this. This is why I charge more for petsitting puppies. As you know, they are a lot of work and require constant supervision. If I agree to keep your untrained puppy, rest assured that your pup will be worked with in a positive manner. I will also show you some training tips so you can continue the training at home. Please let me know if you have any questions!
EXTENDED STAY: If you plan on leaving your dog for several weeks at a time, contact me so that we can figure out an affordable rate.
I can't wait to meet you and your pup!!
Interested in booking with me? Please Read This Very Important Information Below:
*** We are not able to keep dogs with signs of aggression in our home. Your pup must be up-to-date on all vet-recommended vaccines, and be free of fleas and ticks, and cannot have any contagious illnesses including kennel cough and intestinal parasites. This is very important, and thank you for understanding.
CONTACT ME TO SET UP A MEET 'N GREET: I look forward to meeting you!
ONCE YOU BOOK: When you drop off your pup, please bring a note with any detailed feeding/medicine instructions, and other details you want me to know. Also I'd like to have a local emergency contact (relative/friend who loves your pet), and vet information.
If your pup is used to being crated at night or when you leave, please bring the crate. Otherwise your pup will not be crated during the stay. Occasionally I need to step away from the house, so lets talk about how to keep your dog safe when unsupervised.
Please bring food and any special treats. There are plenty of toys, and food/water bowls here, so no need to bring these items. If they have a special bed that they love, feel free to pack it. If your pup has separation anxiety, it may be helpful to pack a piece of clothing or sheet that has your scent and the scent of your home.
Thank you for taking the time to read all about Your Dog's Favorite Vacation Spot!
TO REITERATE: Because it's so important and for the safety and comfort of all of my doggy house-guests, please make sure your pet is free of fleas, ticks and other parasites, and not have any contagious illnesses. Also, I'm unable to keep dogs with signs of aggression. Thanks for your understanding!
