Your Dog Will Feel At Home Here!!!

Pet care experience

I am accepting new clients but the numbers will be limited. I am still very busy with repeated clients’ dogs. As a true dog lover with keen sense of dog needs, I am positive that I can make dogs to feel comfortable. Some such skills that I am proficient in include walking dogs, feeding, cleaning cages and other activities. I have PAWS (Professional Animal Workers) certificate. I have my own two dogs. Tia is mixed Chihuahua and Mini Pinscher. Tim is a pure breed Lab. Tim was adopted Jan 2016 from Lab Rescue organization. I have learned from Tim that he doesn’t like high energy dog or very playful dog who likes to play with other dogs. He doesn’t like to be bothered by other dog. If your dog loves to play with toys or people, that is great! If your dogs love to play with other dog, please seek other sitter.

Information Melinda K. would like to know about your pet

Meet and greet are required before accepting any reservation so owners, sitter, and all pets may get acquainted. Meet & Greet occurs on Sundays only between 1:30pm-4:00pm. If you don’t set up date/time for meet and greet within 24 hrs after I request for your date/time for meet and greet then I will accept other people. It is first come and first serve basis. Please communicate with me via Rover account prior to book. Do not give me your personal contact information, please. It’s easier when I have an access to all information in my Rover account. For new client’s dog I usually put in crate when I am not home. I have crate for your dog, unless you want to use yours. Once I know your dog well and get along with other dogs, your dog doesn’t need to stay in crate. It depends on dog. Two reasons are: Safety and avoid accidents. Is your dog house trained? Does your dog have separation anxiety? What health issue does your dog have so that I am aware of. For the safety and well being of other dog(s), recommend that your dog is up to date on shots (DHLPP & Rabies) and flea/tick medications.

A typical day

I have about 4,000 square foot backyard with 6ft fence. It's mostly flat with slope on one side. I have doggie pool so they can have fun swimming or playing in the water for summer. I play with dog in the backyards with tennis balls or other toys to fetch. Sometimes I take dogs to walk at park. Dogs may want to lie in backyard for sunbath for as long as they want and/or do whatever they want to do for fun. While indoor, I have different kinds of dog toys that they will enjoy playing and I do play with them. Some dogs love to sleep on bed, couch, hard floor or carpet. Dogs have quiet time to sleep at night: 10:00pm - 7:00am
