Richard and his wife did a great job taking care of my Lab mix Scout. Plenty of pictures during his stay and even a trip to the dog park. He loved it!
My dog loves their home very much. They take her to walk for 45 min everyday.
My dog always love here. Richard is very flexible, always take my last minute request, thanks Richard.
Richard is great. We use him for daycare for our 2 year old puppy all the time and she loves it there.
I booked w/ Richard after Dog Vacay helped me find a last minute sitter for Kye when My BF & I needed to go out of town unexpectedly. He was the closest to our home & after a couple of phone conversations I felt comfortable booking with him.

Few things from OUR experience:
- my BF did the pickup & drop off & I handled the communication
- Richard seems to be a man of minimal words (wasn't into chit chatting) & getting details about Kye's stay was minimal.
- Drop off & pick up took place outside so my BF never got to see the setting Kye was in, however we were VERY appreciative of Richard being available for an early morning drop off.
- I left a detailed note with special instructions for Kye (due to him being a senior pet in renal failure & having an injured leg) in his bag & even texted Richard to alert him, but never got a response acknowledging it.
- I checked on Kye daily while away & was always informed he was fine, which was good to know as he usually stresses when we are away, and we did get pictures when I asked for them, which was nice.
- At pickup when my BF asked about Kye's eating (he's on prescription food) & Richard said that his wife handles the feedings & that she hadn't told him anything so he guesses Kye did ok. My BF did notice though that Kye took a super long pee before getting in the car, which was worrisome as its usually indicative of him either not having gone out enough, not eating his food or an increase in water intake (again, renal failure issues), but I can't say for sure what the issue was since it was also raining that day & perhaps he didn't want to go out in the rain.

Overall we were thankful Richard was able to watch over Kye for our last minute trip.
