In home, 1-1 loving care for the same price, or less, than a kennel! NOTE: Please use the "General Inquiry" option to reach out if you are a new client. Thanks!
**14+ years house/pet sitting experience with multiple (enthusiastic!)references:)
**Friendly, down to earth, & conscientious, I've been told I put people (and animals)at ease.
**My animal friends know/love/remember me, and vice/versa (I have many repeat pet/housesitting jobs over the many years I've been doing this)
** 15+ years former teaching and social work background = many passed background checks throughout (DV background check pending)
** Work from home = lots of love & attention for your pup (I do need to go SOMETIMES, though ;) )
**Responsible, professional, service oriented - background running my own business, previously in social work, training/supervisor, and customer service
** I take up to 2 dogs at a time (or I'd take 3 if they were all from one family). If your pup needs to be the only one here, I am willing to do that - ask me about this!
I have a questionnaire/checklist I use to gather vital info and instructions when I petsit, and of course welcome your specific input and needs.
-----My booking process:------
1) PLEASE JUST ASK! DogVacay requires specific answers to many questions that I am flexible about, all depending on your pet's unique needs and the booking details. Please don't hesitate to ask about anything, even if the specifics on my profile don't match your needs exactly!
2) Please send the info below via a message on this site
2) I do require a Get Acquainted phone call with the human
3) Then we set up a Meet & Greet
4) Assuming it's a mutual match, book the dates! Easy peasy!
Sorry - Instant Book is not Available. I'd like to get acquainted first so we both know it's a good match. Phone call required, meet & greet if possible preferred, thanks for understanding!
Happily awaiting your email, and of course send me any questions you may have, too!
***Please send this info in your message:***
---a bit about your pet(s) personality, preferences, & needs (esp special needs)**, such as:
--walk/exercise needs? Leash trained?
--how long s/he is used to being alone
--typical and longest time between going out
--is s/he house trained? Prone to accidents? (if not it is not necessarily a deal breaker, we just need to discuss) I don't take puppies under 1 year except in certain situations - please ask.
