About Pam and Bruce

45 Years Experience Caring For Dogs
With 45 years of experience in caring for dogs, I am highly qualified to provide the care your pet deserves when you need to be away. You can feel secure knowing that your pet will be contained in a locked, fenced yard. There is also a doggie door to allow your fur baby to go in and out as preferred or needed.

All our fur guest are treated like family, We have plenty of toys, homemade food and treats, and attention to share. Your pet is able to decide when and where to rest, nap, and sleep at our retreat. Our fur kids, along with yours, are welcome to join us on the couch as we watch TV. Similarly, if your do is accustomed to sleeping in your bedroom, they may join us in ours.

We have two fur kids of our own. Punkin, is an nine year old Cavapoo, and Kimmie is a 9 month old Morkie. Punkin rules the roost. She loves to play ball and keep Kimmie in line. Kimmie is still learning and is extremely small for her age. We also foster for United Yorkie Rescue. So we have other fur babies that come and go periodically!

When you need to be away from your fur kid for a day, a weekend or several weeks, let us be your first choice. Discounted rates are available for multiple dogs except for holidays!

Pam has watched my little Simon multiple times. He loves going to stay with her so much that he begins to keen when we turn into her neighborhood. When we turn on to her street he continues to keen and starts to dance in his seat. When we get out of the car he yips and runs to her door trying to reach the doorknob to turn (as if he could).

Pam lets the dogs play together at will only stepping in when she gets concerned about their well-being. While all the pups in her care are free run about, play, and go in and out to her fenced-in yard, she is also a good pack leader, keeping order as necessary.

My little Simon is allergic to chicken and I know she is careful to keep him from from getting another pup's food that may contain chicken.

Pam is certified to administer meds as needed. Simon takes medication to prevent seizures and I can trust her to keep a close watch over him and I know she would not hesitate to take him to the nearest animal hospital if she felt he was seizing or even just ill.

Pam (and her husband, Bruce) can always be trusted with your pup. She will take multiple pictures of your pooch at play or even napping and send them to you so you can rest assured he or she is being well cared and happy, too.

Without reservation I can highly recommend Pam as your pup's caregiver while you are away on vacation (or having surgery, as I once did while she watched him). Your only concern may be whether or not you pooch wants to stay with her when you return to pick them up. They love her!

Pam and Bruce have watch my Greyhound, Chase, a couple of times and it has been an EXCELLENT experience! Chase has mild separation anxiety and they did an excellent job of making him feel right at home. They also do a great job of sending photos and updates while they are taking care of your pet, which goes a long way to comforting the owner. I will definitely be using Pam and Bruce in the future to watch Chase! :) Would highly recommend to anyone.

Pam and Bruce were great. They love my pups just like they were their own. Pam sent pics while I was away that helped me know they were in good hands. Will continue to use them in the future.
We are thrilled! Pam and Bruce are warm and friendly animal lovers. They took excellent care of our 2 fur kids. Pam is very knowledge about dogs and their needs. We will be returning when we need a safe caring place to leave our babies.
