My passion for animals started at a young age and eventually, when I was old enough, I began volunteering at National Service Dogs. I have been involved with this organization for the past 12 years volunteering in various capacities and now am currently working as an Apprentice Service Dog Trainer. I have experience with dogs of all shapes, sizes, breeds, and special needs. I will never use a prong or shock collar on any animals I train. I am a firm believer with proper affirmation dogs will perform and exceed expectations. My training style consists of positive reinforcement- it's important to build a strong and trusting relationship with your dog! My home in Ayr, ON has 0.25 acre fenced yard. With ample open grassy area outlined by mature trees there is plenty of room for your dogs to get their daily exercise. We have a large wrap around walk out deck that is gated, which allows us to keep the dogs on the deck or let them loose in the yard. The house is mainly hardwood flooring except in the upstairs bedrooms and basement. There are minimal stairs to our main floor, but a steep 3-stair staircase off the deck. There are two other dogs residing at my home. I have a rescue whippet x Doberman female and a golden retriever x Bernese mountain dog male service dog in training. Each with their own personalities, there is never a dull moment around here!
