About Joe

24 Years Experience Caring For Dogs
I'm glad you decided to consider me to take care of your pets! I first want to mention a couple of things up front that I require. I require meet and greets with all new guests. I also require that all guest pups be up to date on all vaccinations (bordetalla, distemper, and rabies) and this information must be included in your pet's profile.

Having dogs of my own, I know for many of you, like myself, your dogs are very important and finding a sitter that you are comfortable with can be challenging. It can also be stressful for your pets to be away from home. That is why I strive to provide every guest dog with the same comforts of home and provide a loving and enriching environment for them.

During the week, I am usually at work and your pet will be left unattended from about 8:30 to 3:30. I have a spare room where your pet will stay when no one is home or at night unless they would rather sleep in our bedroom. The spare bedroom has plenty of room for relaxing with big windows to look out along with a large people sized bed (if they are allowed on furniture). If they are used to sleeping in a crate, that can be accommodated too as there is plenty of room. While we are home, they'll have a large house and fenced backyard to play during the day.

I find having the spare room for them is helpful since a new place can be stressful and it can be their sanctuary if they wish or they can join the pack, it is really up to them. I find most guest dogs like to stay in the room for the first day or two and then eventually want to come out and be part of the group. I have a baby gate that I use so that I can keep the room open for them but it is still their space and my resident dogs cannot go in there which works out nicely. This is especially true for dogs that have come from shelters and may find kennels to be too stressful.

I require that all guest dogs be up to date on vaccinations and meet and greets are required for first time clients. I want to make sure you feel comfortable with where they will be staying and most importantly, I want to make sure they are going to feel comfortable. If you have a pet that needs medicine or special treatment, I can accommodate that as well as I have had fair share of dealing with various medications and taking care of dogs that require a little special attention.

I can assure you that your baby will get much love and attention (and might get spoiled just a bit). I look forward to hearing from you!

Drop off and pick up times:

Drop offs or pick ups during the week can by any time before 7:30 am or after 3 pm. I can be flexible with this depending on the day of week but these are the best times. On the weekends, drop off and pick up can be anytime.

Joe is so great with our dog and always takes great care of her!
Joe was a perfect match for Bethany the Dog. He was attentive, responsive to my questions, and has a genuine love for what he does. I was able to travel with absolute confidence that my baby was happy, healthy, and having fun!
Joe took great care of our dog. He made sure she was comfortable around the other dogs and sent us plenty of updates. He was also very accommodating with drop-off and pick-up times.
