I adore dogs. Way to state the obvious, right? However, there really isn't anymore one needs but to have complete love for these animals. With love comes all the good stuff they need like care, activity, affection, kindness and patience. Any dog that trots into my home will get love and all the good stuff that comes with it.
I am excited to be back here on DogVacay after a long hiatus earning a degree at UC San Diego. Before I go into my full time job in September I thought I would make this summer even more enjoyable by meeting some new dog friends.
I wake up around 8a.m. to let my own dog out to go potty. My mornings are slow and relaxed, and are open to any activities. I usually walk my dog during the evenings or during the afternoon. However, throughout the day I actually do dedicate a good 20 minutes to play with my little dog. The remaining 5-10 minutes are for mentally stimulating games which consist of challenges like "stay until I tell you to move" or "I'm squeaking your toy under this rug, can you find it?" Yummy gluten and wheat free treats are most definitely involved during playtime. Other then small activities such as the ones mentioned above my days are open to anything. The best way I could describe a typical plan- free day is safe, relaxed and peaceful. I would be in bliss to be able to dedicate my days to falling in love with your dog.
