My sister and I grew up having dogs, cats, rabbits birds, etc for pets. We just love animals and will make yours feel welcome in our home while they are here.
We have hardwood floors throughout most of the house, bathrooms and kitchen are ceramic flooring. Any pet is available to go anywhere in the house with the exception of our front room where we have carpet. Our Mendel tends to think carpet is grass and therefore we don't allow him in that room, lol.
We have a good sized fenced in back yard for rooming and sniffing and out door play time. My babies love to play fetch, so if your's does they will all get along great! We have two fur babies that are well behaved and enjoy other pups.
We've watched a diabetic dog on several occasions and are very well trained on giving puppy shots at specified times. We have lots of crates and pup gates if necessary to split off for feeding time and alone time if necessary.
I care very much for my babies and yours, so please have records of your baby's vaccinations and bring the name and number of their vet. My vet is Creve Coure Animal Hospital and I use the emergency vet they recommend if after hours. http://crevecoeurvets.com/about-creve-coeur-vets-hospital/.
I will accept dogs that are not neutered or spayed but they will need to have a belly band for males and a diaper for the females (if in heat or will go into heat).
I work Monday through Friday about 5 miles from my house. I work an 9 to 6 job but my hours can be flexible if needed due to special feeding and medicine times. Doggie daycare isn't really an option for weekdays for me. If you are going on a long trip and need overnight stays that go into weekdays, the pups will stay in crates or a gated area while I'm at work. I have a large, medium and two small size crates as well as flexible dog gates. If your baby prefers his/her own, feel free to bring it with you.
