We recently lost our 18 year old miniature schnauzer after a 3 year battle with an enlarged heart. He and his sister (the cat that we also lost after 18 years last year) were our world. They were not pets to us, they were our children.
When our dog began having trouble moving about due to arthritis and his heart ailments, we purchased a stroller and carted him around everywhere - the neighborhood, the beach, farmer's markets etc. People really got a kick out it! We don't leave our senior people at home because of mobility issues, why would we leave our pets?!
While our dog and cat had free range of our home and the enclosed backyard, neither strayed a few feet from us. I work from home so of course, both were under foot 24/7 and while we slept in the bed, the bed was technically theirs!
We love pets and would treat your fur kids with the same love and compassion as our own. We have a fully enclosed/fenced yard and used to pets roaming about the house. Please give us the opportunity to care for your pets!
Please note: We only accept small to medium dogs up to 25 pounds. We only watch two dogs at a time. We require that your pets be up to date on all shots, potty trained and well socialized with other dogs. Our home is quiet and peaceful - a perfect resting place for your senior pets.
