My wife and I love animals and have had dogs, cats and horses all of our lives. My wife volunteered at our country vet's office for a while but, most importantly, we took in stray/unwanted dogs and cats, puppies and kittens for the small town in Missouri where we lived. We gave all of the animals vet care as needed, spayed or neutered, vaccinated, gave dogs basic training (sit, down, lay down, come, stay and to walk on a leash) and re-homed all the animals with a 100% success rate.
We have now moved back home to Colorado so no longer fill the Missouri town's stray animal needs but we currently take care of family and friends' dogs when asked.
We have 1 well-mannered senior dog, Semper, a Golden Retriever. We also have 3 cats; Guest dogs should be somewhat cat friendly.
All of our critters have current vaccinations and all are happy to share their home with others. Our house is pet friendly and activities can be provided as per each pet's needs. We have miles of greenbelt and a small park near our home.
All dogs must be house trained. All dogs must be spayed or neutered. All dogs must have current vaccines - Rabies, Bordetella (kennel cough) and DHLP (Distemper, Parvo and Influenza.
Dogs boarded overnight must be picked up by noon the morning of their departure. If not, a daycare fee will be charged. If picked up after 6pm on the day of their departure, an overnight rate will be applied.
