I have been the owner of beagles and a basset hound for the last 14 years. I routinely watch friends' and family members' dogs and cats (in their houses or mine). I can provide references if necessary.
I do work full-time during the week. So if you're going on vacation, your dog would either be alone during the day or I can transport him/her to their regular day care, if you use one. Some people have a neighbor or family member let their animals out during the day.
Matilda is excellent with other dogs. She is laid back and friendly. She has attended doggie day care since she was a puppy and she is used to other dogs being in our home/my care.
We have plenty of toys and plenty of couch and bed space to share! Please note we do live three flights of stairs up from the ground, so your dog needs to be able to do the stairs or small enough for me to carry.
I have had dogs that have seizures, allergies, gastric issues, regular medication, etc.. I also live less than ten minutes from the Emergency Veterinarian Hospital in Manchester.
Also, although it says I will only watch one dog at a time in my home, if you have "siblings," I will absolutely have two dogs over.
We walk at the Rail Trail (about five minutes from my home) and we go to the Derry Dog Park, but only if your dog has been to a dog park or in that kind of environment in the past (and has done well).
Any other questions or requests, just ask!
