Hi! My name is Sasha - my pup Wallace and I are looking for some new friends who need boarding! Our spacious two bed/two bath condo in Wicker Park has hardwood floors, one area rug, LOTS of toys and plenty of room to play. I'm able to work from home most days, so your pup will receive plenty of attention and love during their stay (and you'll get lots of adorable photo updates from me!). We live in a very dog friendly neighborhood, just a half mile from the Wicker Park Dog Park and about a mile from the Marshfield Park DFA. I work from home most weekdays and can provide round-the-clock attention and plenty of bathroom breaks for your pup. Wallace (super friendly with dogs of all sizes, 2 yrs old, 50lbs, Great Pyrenees/Shiba mix) gets a 20-minute walk every morning, then a longer walk mid-afternoon with about 30-45 minutes of play time at one of the dog parks, and one last 20-minute walk after dinner. Happy to do the same for any of our guests, or accommodate special schedules. On weekends the pups may be left alone for 1-3 hours, but no longer. Wallace gets free roam of the apartment when he's left alone, but please let me know if you'd prefer to keep your dog crated or sectioned off when no one is home. Wallace sleeps in his crate most nights, but all dogs are welcome to sleep anywhere they please - including in bed with me! FYI - we have an extra crate if your pup also sleeps crated and you don't want to bring your own. Only requirements on my end are that your pup is mostly house trained (please no couch destroyers, but I can accommodate extra pee breaks if they have trouble holding), doesn't bark much, is not food aggressive and enjoys playing with other dogs. I'm happy to take two dogs at a time, but ask that they are both under 30 lbs (we've got a lot of play space, but gets a little cramped with three big dogs!). I also have experience administering oral medication to my parents' senior dachshund, as well as insulin for a diabetic pup in the past, and can easily accommodate any dietary restrictions your dog may have. Happy to do home visits, walks, etc. as well!
