My name is Halley and I am currently a UWSP college student majoring in animal biology because I absolutely love animals! I grew up always having a dog in the house and in the past, I have dog-sitted for many family friends as well as volunteered at the Fox Valley Humane Society. This past summer I worked at a dog kennel, supervising, feeding, walking, and playing with up to 40 dogs at a time so I have faced many breeds and personality types! In addition to working at the kennel, I also work in a local pet store as a small-animal care associate. This means I have experience working with many fish, varieties of reptiles, birds, guinea pigs, chinchillas, and small rodents. To further my experience in this field and fuel my passion for animals I would love the chance to meet and care for your furry friend whenever is most convenient for you!
My passion for animals has led me to strive to give my animals the best care possible! I have always been responsible for taking care of our family dog's needs as well, which include feeding, bathing, walking/running, giving oral medication to and doing some basic training with (sit, stay, lay down, rollover, shake, etc.). My grandfather has trusted me to care for his older yellow lab, Bo (pictured in photo gallery) as well in the north woods of Wisconsin previous times. I am patient, gentile and dedicated to making your pet(s) feel as comfortable as they possibly can while you are away if given the chance!
