I have always had a family dog since the day I was born and I have loved it!! I currently have a 1 year old dachshund. His name is Rico and he is from Tender Loving Care Animal Shelter in Homer Glen. He is very friendly and has gotten along with every dog I've had here. Now if it was socially acceptable to adopt the whole shelter I sure would! But that seems a little out of reach.. So to fill my doggy obsession, I am resorting to pet sitting/boarding! The cash part is a bonus to help with my upcoming cosmetology school tuition!
I don't only offer sitting and boarding services. I also offer walking, home drop ins, and more. You can see below for full list and rates.
Our whole entire family is filled with pups young and old. I have been around many other dog breeds and sizes! I can't wait to have the pleasure of spending time with yours!! I can assure you, your dog would be in good hands with me! I absolutely love dogs and will love yours as if they were my own! There would only be one other person in the house and that is my grandma who I live with. She is very animal friendly herself. There are no children in the home. I have a very flexible schedule. Last minute bookings are more than welcome if my calendar is open!
I've had expirence with puppys as young as 9 weeks old all the way to senior dogs who suffer from arthritis. If you do have an arthritic dog our house is perfect for them as we do live in a ranch! I've also had experience with dogs who are leash pullers and suffer from separation anxiety.
Your pup would have full access to the whole house. I used to let them sleep wherever they want. However, I now require you bring a crate if the dog has one that can be transported. (I make exceptions for bigger & older dogs). Puppies must have one! I don't like them to be out and free when I am unable to supervise. This is simply for their safety since there are other dogs in the house. We will go on lots of walks, have lots of play time and of course, lots of snuggles!! Lots of spoiling and loving will be going on 24/7! After all they are on vacation!
