If you need someone who can provide some company and lots of TLC for your pet while you're away, we can help! Whether it's just daycare while you're away for the day, or your pet needs a little vacay while you're on vacay, we'd love to help!
While my profile indicates we only watch 1 dog at a time in our home, if you have more than 1 dog in your household, and if they get along well with each other, we wouldn't want to have to split them up, so we will take them together (as long as it is not more than 2 dogs).
Our home is a single-story rancher, so it is senior friendly for older dogs and dogs of any age who do not like or cannot do stairs. We have a very large property and can offer your pet lots of space to get plenty of fresh air and exercise. We lost our beloved Sheltie when she was 14 years old and we do not currently have a pet in the house. We love dogs and would love to have the opportunity to provide the same TLC and pampering to your furry friend that we provided to our own.
We know it can be scary for your pet to be away from you. We will make sure your pet is comfortable, content, and very well cared for during their stay with us. We want your pet to feel as at home in our home as they do in their own home!
Although I work during the day, my wife will be at home all day with your pet for the majority of their time with us, but we ask that you provide a crate so that for the short times we may not be at home, your pet can be crated for their safety and comfort. Your pet must be house-broken, up-to-date with their flea & tick preventative, and must not be aggressive. We prefer to host male dogs that are neutered and female dogs that are spayed. When we are at home, your pet will have full run of the house, right along with us.
We encourage "Meet-N-Greets" so that you and your pet can get acquainted with us and be familiar with our home prior to their stay.
Be sure to include some of your pet's favorite toys in their overnight bag so we can have some quality playtime together. And don't forget to bring their leash because they will get lots of walks in!
