Hi there! My name is Abbey and I love animals! I live in the Silverlake area of LA but I'm originally from the East coast. I currently have one Tuxedo kitty thats about a year and a half old. He's from the streets of Los Angeles and his name is Munchkin. I unfortunately had to say goodbye to my senior kitty Straggles back in November of 2021 (she was roughly 16/17 years old). She had hyperthyroidism, kidney disease, anemia, cerebellar hypoplasia, and went blind at the end :( I also took her in off the Los Angeles streets as she was abandoned by her owners. I gave her sub-q fluids, methimazole mediciation and ear topicals, and vitamin B12 injections. I've trapped and rescued over 15 cats off the streets of Filipino town and have TNR'd many more! I have experience giving Subcutaneous Fluids, Vitamin B12 injections, transdermal and oral Methimazole, Amlodipine, Cerenia, and various other medicines. I work with Luxe Paws and Friends of Normie and help rescue street cats in Silverlake, Echo Park, Downtown LA, Los Feliz, Koreatown, and Atwater. I help TNR and find the kitties their dream homes <3 During the days, I work remotely so I have a pretty flexible schedule. I've worked in production for the last 3 years, working for Warner Brothers and CBS, but decided to take my talents elsewhere so I could have a more work/life balance!
