About Celeste

I am an animal lover, with over 15 years of experience taking care of animals. I take care of 3 cats and also had a hedgehog. I have over 4 years of experience taking care of dogs in their homes. My most notable job was taking care of a Weimaraner for 3 weeks, giving it two, one hour walks a day and maintaining the home that he and his parents lived in.

I believe the best option for sitting a pet is in it's home. The pet will feel more comfortable in it's own territory, especially when meeting and being taken care of by a new person. This is why I exclusively pet sit in the owners home.

Here is some feedback from a previous client: "Celeste Tikal is a wonderful asset to our family life. I know that I can leave my house and elderly dog (Sandy) in her care while we're away and not worry about anything. She's exceptionally smart, kind and conscientious. I have no doubt she's capable of handling any problem that might arise while we're away. Highly recommended." - Katherine

I believe animals deserve the best care possible, and with me, that's what you'll get!

I was very nervous about leaving my 5 month old pup Miku alone for two weeks. Miku had separation anxiety, wasn't fully house trained, was used to being driven to an off-leash dog park every day and required special care for feedings and sleeping. After meeting several possible sitters Celeste stood out as a responsible, capable and trustworthy dog lover. I trusted Celeste with my house, my car, my mail and my houseplants, and most importantly my little baby Miku. She proved my trust was well placed. After a few of her regular video and pic updates I felt comfortable Miku was in good hands and was able to enjoy my time away. Upon my return I could see Miku was well cared for and the house was as clean and organized as when I left.
