About Sarah

18 Years Experience Caring For Dogs
My husband Matt and I have been dog owners for 18 years and also work with a basset hound rescue to foster senior basset hounds who may not be easily adoptable because of age or illness. Our household is currently made up of us, our 5 year old son and our "forever foster" Archie.

We have experience giving oral medications, injecting insulin and having mountains of patience. Our philosophy is to treat your pet like our own. They will spend time and sleep in the location of their choosing - their crate, their own bed, our bed or on a sofa.

A typical day in our house begins with a morning walk to shake off those sleepys followed by breakfast and medications if needed. Your pet will dictate the rest of their stay. We can play with toys, snuggle, go to the nearby dog park or even take a long drive. Does your dog like to nap? Our dog Archie never took a nap he didn't love!

Although we do love all dogs, we must prohibit aggressive dogs due to having a child in our home.

We would love the opportunity to care for your precious friend and can't wait to meet you!

Sarah loves dogs, she has always had at least one and she takes very good care of them. She also fosters Bassett Hounds for Belly Rubs, Inc. Many of her foster dogs and personal dogs have had chronic health problems. She is very diligent in the care of these special needs pups.
