Before I say anything about rules and how I want things to work, I have to thank all my past guests that have given me such outstanding, wonderful reviews. Your dogs have all been awesome and I have had the privilege to take care of them! You trust me with your most precious furry friends and I appreciate that so much! THANK YOU!
And here are the rules of the house
ALL BREEDS ARE WELCOME
We have a house with a dog-friendly yard, and a friendly Fawn Doberman, named Bella. All breeds and sizes are welcome, Bella and I have welcomed everything from Teacup sized to Horse sized dogs and they all have been amazing and wonderful.
She gets along with all breeds if they are well behaved and balanced. If not, she will try to correct their issues in a dog-motherly way. Bella is very social and want to help me in every situation. I am so impressed of her ways to read other dogs and the way she treats them. She would go between two other dogs if it become tense between them. She is calming down nervous dogs and she is careful and respectful towards a dog that is scared of other dogs. She is my best helper when new dogs arrive. She loves the small ones, she will protect and play with them herself to be sure they are safe.
DROP OFF and PICK UP
It is important for me to know when you plan to dropoff and pickup your pup. Not only for the cost of the stay, but also to be able to plan for new guests and plan my day.
I live with my daughter and 2 grandkids (23 and 19 year old) We all are engaged in our guest dogs and if I have to leave the house there is always someone here to watch them and play with them.
MEET 'N GREET (MNG) FIRST FOR NEW GUESTS
Before booking a new guest I always suggest a MNG first, so we know that our dogs like each other and will have the best experience we can offer.
You can either bring it or send it by email to: email@example.com. It is always nice to know your guests and their habits, It's ok with both the bad and good ones :)
This is a short list of things I would like to know:
Do your dog tend to surf the counters for food
Or maybe to chew shoes
or is he/she a succer for belly rubs
whatever it is, tell me so I know a little bit more about your pup.
AVOID THE DOORBELL- SEND ME A TXT
Avoid ring the bell.........instead, send me a txt or call me so I can meet you and your pup outside first if needed, everybody usually calms down in a few minutes and that's a better experience for everyone.
I am retired and a part time photographer.....you will get updates with pictures on a regular basis while you are away.......and maybe even a portrait, if your dog isn't too camera shy :)
Playtime every day. No one will get bored in this house.
Drop off and pickup time for 1 night boarding is 24 hours.
Daycare is 8-10 hours
I'm flexible and a couple of extra hours is fine.....but if longer, there will be an extra daycare cost added of $10-$30 depending on pickup time.
INSTAGRAM, TWITTER AND FACEBOOK
You will find me on all 3 with the handle @anitathuna
Bella and I are looking forward to meet you and your pup. A great stay is when we all are happy. I'll make that happen with a little bit of your help :)
