Hello, My husband and I love dogs. We enjoy caring for your pets while you are on vacation. We offer four walks per day, lots of affection, and fun! We recently adopted a wonderful playful bulldog mix named Bruno. He would be here if you decide to have us care for your pet. Bruno is very sweet and loves other dogs. A meet and greet is necessary to make sure that our dog and your dog are a good match. We would keep our dog and your dog on separate floors of the house when we are not able to supervise their interactions. I am a photographer and my husband is a an English professor. We are both home in the mornings and evenings, and all weekend. During school vacations my husband is home during the day (December-January, and May - August). We have a large 2400 square foot home that was completely renovated in 2013. We have a fenced in backyard that is about 40 feet wide by 12 feet deep. Your pet is welcome to roam the home and sleep on the furniture. Long walks are part of the reason we would like to pet sit. We live near Passyunk Ave. on a quiet side street, we enjoy taking walks in the neighborhood. It would be a joy to take your pet with us on our walks. There is a park about five blocks away from our house where we take dogs to play. Our fifteen year old cat died last year and my husband and I are heart broken. We thought it would be very nice to pet sit. We have lots of time and energy to spend with your pet. We do not currently have children or other pets, so your pet would receive our full attention. Both my husband and I had dogs growing up. We have also taken care of the dogs of family and friends. We are very responsible and caring people. Our vet is Queen Village Animal hospital, and we are about a ten minute drive from VSEC 24 hour animal clinic and 15 minutes from University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine. We have two cars, transportation in the case of an emergency is readily available.
