Hi! I am a HARDCORE dog lover who has a degree in Anthropology specializing in dogs and their behavior as well as other animals. I am a huge advocate of dog/animal rescues and believe that every fur baby on earth deserves a chance at a forever home. I have worked at a vet's office, am active at volunteering for animals and place my donation money where my mouth is. I have a medium size very animal friendly house with a large fenced in back yard. My little dog is an escape artist and even he can't get out of it. I am SUPER picky about who I allow to care for my dogs so I completely understand the stress of finding the right person. I assure you I can be trusted, I will love them, and treat them as my own as I hope my pet sitters do. I am also VERY adamant about treating people's animals exactly how they want them to be treated. I know my dogs have certain rituals with their treats and toys, and as long as I have clear instructions I will follow yours to the letter. My dogs are super friendly and although a bit old, like to play. They have been in multiple dog houses (at one point we had a menagerie of 8 dogs and 4 cats!) but they are also good at recognizing when other dogs don't want to play. I have dealt with extremely aggressive animals too, and I can handle them, although I do not let them near my animals. I do not believe in harsh treatment at all but I do believe that dogs need boundaries and exercise to be happy and fulfilled. I know my rates are a bit more than others, but I am grateful that I am in pretty high demand and I assure you I am worth the price which also makes it worth my while.
