I am a dog lover at heart, who has been deprived of a dog's presence for almost 33 too many years of my life! My mother and grandmother have threatened to stop inviting me to family events, if I got my own dog. (They are the types to wait for the next, dog-free elevator or even cross the street in order to avoid a dog's presence!) I, on the other hand, used to escape to my backyard neighbor, to play with their dog and his friend, as a kid.
Having recently moved to Brooklyn's Crown Heights/Brownsville neighborhood, I find myself vicariously living through my neighbors' and street strangers' experiences with their dogs. I am finally able to host and look forward to doing so graciously and often!!
I live in a 2.5-floor, 3-bedroom house that I share with one, friendly roommate. He enjoys dogs, as well. We have a 1,500-sq ft, fenced backyard, accessible only through one back door. I expect your canine will be comfortable, and well loved!
I work at two, part-time jobs, both about 20 min from my house. While I cannot bring a dog to work, I will definitely be spending morning time, most lunch hours and evening time with my 4-legged house guest!
I am a Sabbath observant individual, so, while I expect to be regularly available for communication and updates, please know that I won't be able to do so from sundown on Friday until Saturday night, after dark.
I look forward to meeting your furry friend!!!
