My name is Valerie, I'm 19 years old. I am an animal activist because I love and care for animals with all my heart. I believe that all animals deserve happiness, love and a good home. I am a part of Peta2 (an animal activist group) and I have signed many petitions on animal rights. (Most recently the petition to relieve the pitbull ban in Montreal.) I have had all sorts of pets throughout my life. I have also cared for and released wildlife including, baby birds, snakes, frogs, mice and turtles. I love visiting the local pet shelters and volunteering my time.
My home is spacious, meaning your pet will have lots of space to roam and play. The house has A/C and heating to make the temperature more comfortable for your pet. There are 5 other people (not including myself) here to help care for and play with your pet. Meaning they will never be without love and attention. I do allow dogs to sleep in my bed but if you do not wish that other arrangements can be made.
I generally wake up a few times during the night at which time I could let your pet out to go to the washroom if they need. My day starts at 10 where I will give my pets some wake up lovin. (Play with them on the bed, pet them, etc.) Then I care for my pets, (filling their bowls, cleaning their litter, brushing them etc.) Then I will feed myself. Next I go sit outside for an hour or 2 just relaxing and enjoying the day. My boyfriend and his brother get home around this time, this will be when your pet will get the most attention. The rest of the day changes all the time based on what I feel like doing, what needs to be done, what the weather is like, etc. The rest of the day is when I will take your pets for walks to the park, play with them, teach them tricks or simply snuggle with them.
Choosing me to care for your pet is an excellent choice. I will make sure your pet is always loved and get everything they need. I don't have many restrictions but I do ask that your pets be up to date on their shots. I only ask this because we have other pets and 1 child under the age of 18. This is just a safety precaution for my family. So please keep your pet up to date on his or her shots. Thank you.
