About Valerie

1 Years Experience Caring For Dogs
My name is Valerie and my husband is William. We are new to Eagle River and are from Houston, Texas. We have a year old puppy, Maximus. He is just over a year old and is a Lab/Beegle mix breed that we adopted from the county. The first 6 months we had him, we brought him to dog parks regularly & daycare once a month to ensure he plays well with others. We also have an 11 year old Orange Tabby cat, that keeps to herself mostly.

I have pet sit for friends for the past 12 years which I did at the clients home, but now that I am married, I will only have your dog stay with us. We have a fully fenced in back yard and also a balcony. Puppies must be potty trained.

I am a Massage Therapist and I work from home. So since I am new to the area, I don't have any clients yet, but once I do, I will be doing massages out of my home.

Maximus loves to play with friends. I would also take them on 1 - 2 walks per day.

We have had Valerie Long watch our dogs numerous times. We have 2 indoor dogs and 2 outdoor dogs. We had Valerie stay at our house. She is extremely trust worthy. We have one dog who is very challenging and our dog took to Valerie instantly. Valerie spends a lot of quality time with the dogs. We highly recommend Valerie as a dog sitter/ house sitter.

Valerie has demonstrated excellent interaction not only with her dog but also with my dog on a regular basis. My dog is somewhat apprehensive around people he is not familiar with and Valerie is always very kind and gentle and makes it easy for my dog to become relaxed when she is around.

I have seen Valerie with dogs in various situation at a park or outside and she is always in control of her dog and very caring.

Valerie would be a wonderful caretaker of dogs or other animals.

Valerie is one of the sweetest people I have ever met. She has a big heart and loves very well. She has taken care of a dog and 2 cats of mine. She is very attentive and good with my animals I felt safe with her having a key to my house and coming and going. I would very highly recommend Valerie to anyone in need of a pet sitter.

Valerie is an incredible, loving, and caring pet sitter. She watched our dog Sam when we had to leave town. She took the time to make sure that Sam had the time she needed to run out her energy since she is a heeler. Sam was always so happy to see Valerie that I knew she treated her with loving hands.

What makes Valerie great with animals is built inside of her...she is a carrying person. I once remembering reading that how a person treated animals is how they treat people. Well that is her. She sat for us for a week and I can tell you the girls (yes that was our doggies) loved her. Even after we came home they would go to her.

Not only is she a caring and loving person, but she throws her all into making sure my Chocolate Lab has all the attention and love that she needs at all times.
Valerie has taken care of our dog as if it was her own. So much so, at times I wasn't sure our Bella wanted to come home or stay with her.
She has always been extremely reliable, and I have always felt my dog was safe, well fed, watered and exercised appropriately while in her care.
Finally, she is well mannered, competent individual who gives 100% when caring for our pet.

I have known Valerie Arrington Long for the past six years. She has impeccable character and would be a blessing in caring for any animal. She is kindhearted, yet is disciplined and has a great love for any animal.
She has watched our two beloved Boxers, Emmee and Xena for several years. You will not find anyone more dependable and trustworthy than Valerie. She will ensure the safety and well-being of any animal in her care. She loves the outdoors and will make sure they get plenty of exercise.
We never had any concerns while we were away, knowing they were being loved and care for. Our girls LOVED Valerie!

It is with great pleasure that I can truly give an A+ rating to Valerie for the care she would provide for any animals, or in our case, our beloved “other children”.
