Why Shouldn’t Your Pet Enjoy His/Her Own Vacation
While You Are Away on Your Vacation?
Your furry baby’s vacay is spent in our home with all of the comforts of their own home including lots of love, companionship and exercise.
My husband and I are both retired which means that there is almost always someone home to provide companionship for your pet.
I grew up on a hobby farm caring for many pets including dogs, stray cats, waterfowl and large animals. I have had a dog to love almost all of my life. I have been their principle caregiver for thirty-five years. I have taken many obedience classes. Some of my dogs have received their American Kennel Club Canine Good Citizen Certificates.
I have boarded dogs in our home for friends. This has given me the experience in acquainting other people's pets with sharing a home with unfamiliar dogs.
I take your pet on a one and a half mile walk per day. If your pet is high energy or still in the puppy stages, I take them for a second walk at the end of the day.
I also go out into our big backyard to play with them. Our home backs onto a forest so there is always lots of mysterious smells and sounds coming from the other side of the fence to keep your pet amused.
I will encourage your pet to go out often for as long as they want. If they want to stay outside for quite awhile, go ahead. Your pet will be wandering around our yard, sniffing and gazing through the fence into the woods. There is a good chance that your pet will see a deer if they are early enough risers!
If they aren’t big on the outdoors, that is fine. Stay in the house, sit on the couch with my husband and watch television all afternoon!
