My name is Cathy and I have provided pet care services thru my business ; Vacation Paws for 10 plus years . I ran a successful dog sitting service in New York and upon my move to Fort Pierce ( 5 years ago ) I began a 4 year employment at the Humane Society animal shelter . I initiated the start up program of Volunteer Training , during that time , which successfully continues to this day . Thru my work at the shelter , I have worked with most breeds of dogs . Upon my retirement from the shelter , I have renewed my original dog sitting business of Vacation Paws . I reside in a beautiful pool home in Indian River Estates ( Fort Pierce ) with a large , fenced in backyard . For high energy dogs , I provide plenty of playtime and swimming . Upon owners consent, we hike thru the lovely Savannah's State Park trails as well as frequent day trips to the Walton Rocks dog beach . For older more sedate dogs I provide a large , cool , quiet family room for needed rest . My standard is individualized , attentive care thru 24 hour supervision , in a loving , caring atmosphere .
