I grew up with 3 dogs, 2 medium/large Bearded Collies and 1 small Havanese. I wish I could have a dog of my own, but I know I am not in a position financially just yet. I have taken care of my family and friend’s dogs for free for years, so when I heard about DogVacay it seemed like a perfect match for me. It has been a great experience!
I was out of the city for the last year and got some requests I didn't respond to because I was not aware I had them. I am back in the city and will be very responsive once again.
The apartment I am currently renting does not allow dogs, so I can't have them stay with me like I did before (not yet). I still work from home so if I am dog sitting at your place I am still able to be with your dog all day.
I am available for dog walking as well on the UWS. I will only take 1 dog at time so you do not have to worry about your dog getting along with an unknown dog (unless you have more than 1 dog, which is not a problem).
I am passionate about making sure all dogs get the love and care they need. I volunteer with the Mayor’s Alliance for Animal Control and Care. In the past for example I helped at Central Park Paws with getting dogs micro-chipped. I just volunteered with them again for the Maddie's Pet Adoption Days for free adoptions through many great shelters and with Petco on the UWS.
I live on the UWS in-between both Central and Riverside Parks and near a couple of dog runs.
Please know your dog is my number one priority!
