About Brooke

I grew up with 3 dogs, 2 medium/large Bearded Collies and 1 small Havanese. I wish I could have a dog of my own, but I know I am not in a position financially just yet. I have taken care of my family and friend’s dogs for free for years, so when I heard about DogVacay it seemed like a perfect match for me. It has been a great experience!

I was out of the city for the last year and got some requests I didn't respond to because I was not aware I had them. I am back in the city and will be very responsive once again.

The apartment I am currently renting does not allow dogs, so I can't have them stay with me like I did before (not yet). I still work from home so if I am dog sitting at your place I am still able to be with your dog all day.

I am available for dog walking as well on the UWS. I will only take 1 dog at time so you do not have to worry about your dog getting along with an unknown dog (unless you have more than 1 dog, which is not a problem).

I am passionate about making sure all dogs get the love and care they need. I volunteer with the Mayor’s Alliance for Animal Control and Care. In the past for example I helped at Central Park Paws with getting dogs micro-chipped. I just volunteered with them again for the Maddie's Pet Adoption Days for free adoptions through many great shelters and with Petco on the UWS.

I live on the UWS in-between both Central and Riverside Parks and near a couple of dog runs.

Please know your dog is my number one priority!

Brooke was an amazing host! Guinness was well taken care of and given a lot of love and attention. He had many trips to the park and long walks. I received a lot of pictures and it was great to see how happy he was and how well he was taken care of and loved in my absence.

Highly recommended!!

She was great!
Brooke took great care of Bosco and was very flexible when my plans changed.
Guinness had an amazing time with Brooke. He was loved and taken care of and I was able to enjoy my vacation without a worry in the world. I would highly recommend Brooke to anyone. Thanks for everything Brooke!
Brooke caught on to my Westie's little tricks very quickly (much to his chagrin, I'm sure). She kept me updated and I have no hesitation in recommending her to others.
Once again, Brooke took care of Macy as if she were her own. Macy loves spending time with Brooke!! I can relax while I'm away knowing Macy is with Brooke.
Brooke was fantastic - Macy had so much fun - she didn't want to leave!! Brooke sent a great picture collage of their day and I knew Macy was in great hands the whole time. I'd definitely recommend her and Macy will vacation there again, for sure!
We are so fortunate to have found Brooke! This was our first time on Dogvacay, so naturally we were nervous to drop our dog-daughter, Lorelei, off with a stranger. We asked for a meet-up and Brooke was totally easy to communicate with and super flexible (she even came to our place to meet us, when we couldn’t make it to hers). Brooke was a total natural with Lorelei. We dropped Lorelei off a few days later, and she seemed so happy to see Brooke and was totally comfortable in her apartment. We didn’t have any doubts that Brooke was taking amazing care of Lorelei, but it was reassuring nonetheless to get a photo montage of Lorelei playing, lounging and just generally super happy (and we can tell when she’s not) while we were away. Brooke genuinely loves dogs, and loves our Lorelei. My husband and I wholeheartedly recommend Brooke as a dog-host for your loved one!
