Hi! My name is Nichole and I am excited for the opportunity to provide you with peace of mind that your pets have a loving companion during your time away! I did DogVacay (before it became Rover) and Rover for 4 years while I was going to college in Texas between 2011 to 2016. At the time I was rate the #1 dog-sitter in Dallas/Fort Worth area. I moved back to San Diego shortly after and started a career in Social Work so I had to give up my "fun job" dog sitting. Fast forward 7 years later, and I am now in Missoula, MT (Stevensville to be more specific)! I work from home for the 988 Suicide Crisis Lifeline and I would love the opportunity to pet-sit so I can still help other people while I have the luxury of working from my laptop. I have a great passion for animals and treat every pet as if they were my own, as I fall in love the second I meet them. Whether its a couple walks a week or a 14-day vacation, I will bond with your dog immediately. I love hyper dogs because they are a blast to be around, but I also love shy dogs because it's extremely rewarding when you earn their trust. No matter your dogs temperament, age, size, or health status I can assure you I am the reliable and honest person you have been looking for to care for your member of the family so you can enjoy your vacation without worries!

Nichole was super helpful and kind! She was able to help us while we were traveling to visit my parents in San Diego. Nichole shared some dog Feeding tips with us as we both make our dogs home made food. I would 100% have Nichole stay with our doggos again.
Nichole was wonderful! She was extremely communicative and sent us lots of updates about all the great walks and snuggles she was having with our pup. It was our first time leaving our dog with anyone other than family and it was wonderful to have someone we felt we could trust right away. We will absolutely book Nichole again!
Nichole watched our dog while we went out of town for the weekend and we are so happy with how it went! She was super nice and our dog totally fell in love with her from the second they first met! She texted us updates and photos of him while we were gone so we were totally put as ease while we were away. Will definitely contact her first the next time we need a dog sitter!
Nichole house sat and watched my 2 larger dogs for me while I was away for the holidays. She did a fantastic job and was very flexible given that she watched my pets over the holidays. She sent me pupdates and pictures during her stay so I always knew my girls were in good hands. When I returned I could tell my dogs were happy and had enjoyed their time with Nichole. I highly recommend Nichole as she is professional, courteous and a true dog lover. I will use her in the future for house sitting my pets.

I treat every client's home like it's my own. I pride myself on being extremely clean and respectful of the rules...not only your house rules, but your pet's rules too. I encourage families to face-time or check on their pups via security cameras for reassurance that I am taking care of their pets exactly the way they expect me to, or even better! Many dog owners find that their dogs get spoiled when I take care of them becuase I am home all the time so they get copious amounts of attention, walks, play time, and cuddles.

It's important for me to know a very detailed schedule for your pup. Often times pups have the hardest time adjusting when I don't follow their routine. I love to know exactly when you wake up in the mornings, when you walk your pet, when you go to sleep, etc so I can make the transition for your dog as easy as possible to minimize stress and confusion.
A typical day
I love to take dogs to the park, on walking trail and spend as much time outside as possible. I am all about including the dogs in my day-to-day activities life going to the store and I will be happy to do this upon approval and request of each client. I enjoy working from local coffee shops so with your approval I will be happy to bring your pup along with me.

Availability
I currently work for the 988 Suicide Lifeline answering calls to those in need so I spend a TON of time studying at home on the week nights and weekends. I have a fair amount of flexibility being able to work from anywhere, just about any time! If I do leave the house it's usually to go to the gym or spend time in nature. I am rarely away from home for more than 4 hours at a time.
