Absolutely unreal. We booked Melissa for house sitting at Christmas. We had used her in the past. She’s extremely high and I questioned both times we used her whether she actually stayed at the house or not but we needed someone for the holidays. Unfortunately, my father in law was rushed to the hospital and probably won’t make it. He’s day to day and I’m critical care. I contacted Melissa the next day that we had to cancel and apologized for the inconvenience. She made no mention of her cancelation policy nor that I wouldn’t get a full refund. We had paid her $675 for 12/23 - 12/28 which like I said, EXTREMELY high. She was very cold and said she had turned several people down to help us and I would have to contact customer service. So I did. I only got $327 refunded. Today, I called customer service to ask why. They said her cancelation policy was listed as strict and requires 7 days for cancelation and I canceled at 6. I cannot help that it was 6 instead of 7. I canceled the day after my father in law was rushed to the hospital, as it was late the night before when he was taken. I did it as quick as I possibly could to give her time to Rebook someone she turned down. Customer service told me they could issue the full refund with her permission. When I contacted her she was again very cold and quite frankly, rude. She did zero and walked away with $347 of my money for something I have no control over! Additionally, I went back and looked at my security camera and confirmed that she didn’t stay overnight every night she was requested in the previous stays. I guess that’s why we didn’t get picture updates very often. I highly caution anyone thinking of using her because if you have any circumstances you can’t control, she doesn’t care. You’ll be out of money for no services rendered. I get the cancelation policy for some bs or changing minds but this is truly disgusting.

My house/dog sitter was great!! She made sure my elder dog got her meds 2 times per day and took her on walks. She did what was needed so my dog was comfortable and spoiled. :). I loved the pics and updates too!
