I was a 4-h leader in dog obedience for 3 yrs. I showed and trained for 4-h for 2yr before that. I continued to train and care for clients until 5 yrs ago when I moved, I have showed and trained dogs since I was about 10. I grew up on a farm where we had akc golden retrievers and samoyeds that we bred, raised, trained, and showed. We administered all routine medical care including vaccinations and maintenance care such as worming, grooming, and teeth cleaning for our dogs and pups with our vets approval. I was employed at a pet resort for 2 yrs in my home town. This got me accustomed to handling dogs and cats with behavioral issues such as separation anxiety and aggression. I know how to assess and handle almost any situation whether a medical or behavioral issue. I have experience grooming Maltese, American Staffordshire terriers, chihuahuas, golden retrievers, domermans, samoyeds, and cats a little too. I was attending school to become a vet for 3yrs but changed my major because of a back injury. I have a deep passion for all animals. I am interested in providing a nurturing and safe environment for any animal I take care of. I have experience with fish and testing water levels and aquarium cleaning/water replacement as well. Currently I am working from home so your pet would not be unattended. My apartment has plenty of rugs on the hard wood and I have several pet proof pieces of furniture for them to sit on. I don't have any roommates or visitors so it is very personal and safe. I have a 4 month old puppy who is very friendly and smart. Give me a try and I won't let you down!
