I am a 23 year old animal lover! I worked in the pet industry for 7 years, as a kennel technician in a variety of pet stores, and as a manager of a dog boarding hotel, and dog walking service. Apart from this work experience, I have had dogs my entire life, and am obsessed with all animals. I moved from Alberta and had to leave my family dog at home, so I am currently missing the happiness that comes with taking care of a pup, so I would give your little guy 1000 cuddles day and night! I live in a spacious, bright apartment, with a cement balcony and an outdoor private (and grassy) off-leash dog area that is for residents only. My apartment is laminate and tile, and has been more than suitable for dogs that I have taken care of before. I have a young cat who has grown up around dogs and loves to play, and cuddle like a dog. My kitchen area can be sectioned off if the dog needs to be left in a specific space when he is alone. I allow dogs on the furniture and encourage them to sleep on my bed, unless the owner has specific restrictions! Ideally, I would prefer a dog who is friendly with other dogs, and specifically friendly or non-aggressive towards cats. A potty trained dog would also be a plus, but puppies are more than welcome! I am a freelance videographer and part time student, so I spend my time at home, and between classes. I live a few blocks away from my university so I am at home for a large part of the day, and am never too far away! I am extremely active and love to go for walks or runs, so depending on your dogs level of activity there is a variety of fun things we can do together! I can guarantee a long morning and evening walk, as well as shorter play sessions in the park throughout the day. While the dog is in the house I will play with him/her and make sure they get the cuddles they require! I am trained in analyzing dog behaviour, determining unsafe play situations, and dealing with these situations appropriately and efficiently. I promise your dog will be well taken care of, and will have an extremely safe, and positive experience! I will also take lots of pictures to send to you while you are away!
