I moved from the DC area in 2012 and have always grown up with and loved dogs! I enjoy going on walks with dogs, whether it's on Shoal Creek Trail, Barton Springs, Red Bud Isle, etc.
I offer dogsitting at my house (a two story duplex) where I have a backyard and a dog. She's a one-year-old lab mix named Moxie, and she is very sweet and playful and gets along great with other dogs!
I also offer dogsitting at the guest's home (essentially, housesitting). I find that both the owners and dogs are often more comfortable doing this so that dogs have their familiar smells, toys, bed, etc. around them. Since I do have my dog, Moxie, it would be preferable if she could stay with me at your place as well. I will, of course, run that by the guest to see if that's OK, as I know it may not be preferable to the guest. Depending on my schedule, it may turn out that I won't necessarily need her to stay with me at your place.
Additionally, I tend to housesit close to where I live and work, which is in the S Lamar/Oltorf (78704) area. However, you can definitely reach out, and I can let you know if the distance to your place may work for me. By housesitting close to where I work, it is convenient for me to stop by during my lunch break and walk, feed and play with your pup. I work Monday through Friday, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The photos in my profile are just some of the sweet pups I've dog sat before. I kind of get camera-happy with pups, so expect a lot of photos from me!
