Hi! Thank you for visiting my profile, I look forward to caring for your pet! For the past 8 years, I've been a volunteer at Animal Haven shelter working with dogs and fostering cats. Now with my own home in the Brooklyn Heights/Dumbo area, I can't wait to host dogs. I have previous experience house-sitting for birds, dogs & cats in Seattle, D.C. and here in NYC. I've grown up with all types of animals (guinea pigs, dogs, cats, rabbits, and even horses). I believe walks, belly rubs, treats, and playtime, and TLC are all key ingredients to a wonderful vacation for your pup.

Suji was wonderful! We could not have asked for a better dog sitter for our newly adopted pup. She sent us regular updates and clearly took excellent care of him. We felt very reassured knowing he was in such good hands. We hope to have her dog sit again in the future!
Suji cared for our dog Tumi when we took a short weekend trip and did such an amazing job. Tumi was a happy camper all weekend, and Suji sent us the sweetest pictures/updates. We'll definitely be using Suji again to spoil our furry daughter next time we're on vacation.
We will definitely have Suji watch our pup Kenzie again! Suji sent tons of photos over the weekend and kept us updated on how Kenzie was doing. Suji kept Kenzie very active and Kenzie clearly had a blast (she even cried when Suji left our apartment).
Suji was amazing and responsive. Oscar liked her instantly and she took great care of him. Highly recommended!

I live in a secure elevator building. While in the home dogs are always monitored. If they are known and trusted to be left alone I always make sure they dog has access to water, and anything that might be at risk for ingestion is securely put away. I am happy to crate the dog if trained. While out on walks follow the practice of avoiding meeting other dogs unless cleared by the owner and owners of the other dogs.

Please let me know about any rules/quirks such as: - How are they with other dogs? (I tend to avoid others while walking to be safe) - How are they when left alone? Can they be crated? - Any medical conditions/allergies - what is their typical schedule?
A typical day
All dogs get a minimum of 4 walks a day, and I love to provide engaging toys and treats when their diet allows for it. These include kongs, snuffle mats, and puzzles. Plenty of snuggles and nap time are also a guarantee.

Availability
I'm available for boarding Fridays-Mondays when I'm most available to give your dog the full attention they deserve. Friday and Monday I work from home and during the weekends I am available to be home, but may pop out for an hour or two if the dog can tolerate it.
